Weekly Question (Week 11)
New question is up! Sooooooooooooo sorry it took so long :( Life is always happening to me >:(

Favorite genre. After thinking this through. My favorite genre would have to be Platform. I've always been more of an adventurous type of guy when it comes to video gaming. Be it side scrolling platform or an opened world platform like Banjo Kazooie.

I guess it'd be rpgs for me, but that's a good question.

My three favorites are adventure, RPG, and action.

I'm all about the RPG and it's sub genre's. I don't care if it's an action RPG, turn-based RPG, tactical RPG whatever. I am most likely interested in it if has RPG in it's genre. That said there are some exceptions, I'm not the biggest Mass Effect fan for example. Another genre that comes to mind is 3PS. I don't care much for FPS but the third person shooters I've played not only are fun but tend to have better stories than the FPS genre does. Games like Gears of War, Dead space and Uncharted are pretty high on my list.

I like them all really, the better question is which genre's I don't like.

My favourite it hard to say, RPG's, TBS's, FPS's, Action Adventure and Hyper Action games are probably my favourites of the bunch.

Guess! JUST F***ING GUESS! DO YOU EVEN KNOW ME? YOU'RE NOT EVEN MY REAL DAD!

Horror games, is what I'm trying to say here. It doesn't even have to be an actually scary game, just a horror themed one like Castlevania for example. Of course there are exceptions, like FNAF (never really got into that one) and shit like Resident Evil: Missions. That game has no right to exist.

I don't know if I have a favorite genre... can I just cop-out and say "interactive games"? How about "good"?

Those are definitely my favorite two genres.

I've always been big into racing games. Especially F-Zero and Trackmania games.
I also enjoy a good JRPG.

Mine change from time to time. FPS, Platformers, RPG, TBS, Horror. I think the only thing I don't like is RTS games.

If I had to pick one or two, Platformers and RPGs

I can'r really name a favorite genre. I mean my favorite videogame series is The Legend of Zelda, so I guess Action-Adventure games? But I also enjoy JRPGS, cRPGS, Platformers, Kart/Futuristic racing games... hell it'd probably be easier to name genres I don't like, which are RTS (although I like the Pikmin games), and realistic games (like Modern Military Shooters, and Sports games, although I love Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, COD Zombies, and the Mario Sports games).

So I guess I just don't like games that try to emulate real life, because they always end up feeling boring.

Favorite Genre? Dang, that's a tough one.

Well, my primary genre would be Adventure. Just exploring and discovering. This genre can be attached to just about everything else like action, puzzle, sport, etc. That and I like adventure games.

"This game doesn't suck" genre?

Yes. I own almost every game in the Zelda series legitimately (still looking to get Minish Cap, Four Sword Adventures, and Spirit Tracks, along with games like Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland), and I even own multiple copies of some of the games (like Ocarina of Time, and the original Legend of Zelda). No other series (besides maybe Super Smash Bros.) can get this level of dedication.
