Sorry for the delay in addressing this. I've been on the road all day and this is the first opportunity I've had to do so. What you've been seeing is not a bug and it also doesn't have anything to do with adding tags. This is actually one of our new features.

In an effort to improve visibility of new trivia, we've decided to implement a publishing queue on top of the standard pending trivia. When trivia is accepted, it's added to the database in an unpublished state. Once an hour, on the hour, between 10 AM and 10 PM EST, the site grabs the oldest unpublished trivia and automatically publishes it which is when the PM is sent (since sending it during the accept phase would result in a broken link until it was published). I realize this may seem counter-intuitive but trivia is normally dealt with in large batches, sometimes 100+ at a time, and we were finding that a lot of it only spent a minute or two on the front page. Doing things this way lets us spread it out and highlight new content as well as prevent a ton of tweets from going out all at once for our updates account.

We still have the ability to manually publish any currently unpublished trivia and anyone with instant approval (staff, for the most part) will still go up immediately. To make things a little easier for the rest of you, I'm in the process of creating a page that will let you view all of your currently accepted but unpublished trivia which should be up fairly soon.

Can someone post a screenshot of their pending trivia queue? I obviously can't see it and I'd like to make sure I'm formatting this list correctly. I'll also be asking for a screenshot of the unpublished list once it's up so thanks in advance for both!

I'm also having a problem as well, when I try to edit a certain trivia, it takes me to a picture of the box art for Super Mario World. It's weird.

I forgot to reply to this initially but could you elaborate? What trivia are you trying to edit? Is it taking you directly to an image or a page that contains it?

I don't have any in the unpublished but I've got 2 monitors anyway so I figured I'd do that anyway.

The new layout looks great, plus the tagging system is pretty neat as well.

Seems to be pretty mobile friendly as well.

We're actually working on a proper mobile skin (so things like the menus work better) but it does do alright on mobile as is.

Sure does, thanks! I just wanted to make sure that users actually had access to the page and that it was formatted correctly. The only thing I can't confirm yet is trivia submitted to anything that isn't a game but, given that what you're seeing looks correct, I imagine series/developer/console is fine as well.

I'm assuming that clicking on those edit links (the pencils) didn't work, right? They're gone now so you can't test it at the moment but if you did try, what happened?

Thy're not working for me. Every time you click one, it brings you to the top of the page and remains closed.

Still haven't figured out what's interfering with the spoiler tags on the forum but I did just add a new feature to the home page! You now have a much more obvious count of your accepted but unpublished trivia which should help prevent confusion when trivia vanishes with no PM.
