In most games, if the good ending is easy to get I'll go for it, but if it's something that's dependant on the gameplay and is quite secret otherwise then I'll go with the flow.
I usually don't care much what ending I get if it's something like Silent Hill or Metro where I need to make sure I do specific things to get a good ending because I wouldn't do them normally so I don't look up a guide to specifically do them.
I don't think I ever actively go for the bad ending other than to see it, or get an achievement if it's possible.
What about you guys, do you go for the good ending, bad ending or just don't care what you get?

I usually just go with the flow, because I don't feel like going out of my way to get specific endings.

I do what ever I can to get 100%. That means getting the best ending/ALL endings. If it's super hard to get (getting all Golden Bananas in DK64), I'll settle for the normal ending.

I'll gun for the good ending first time around then bad second time around. If there's another, then that comes next.
That's one of the reasons I liked Fallout New Vegas more than 3. Sure, in three, you had Good, stupid lackey bad, and neutral the entire way through.
In New Vegas, you have factions. Good Legion is possible, albeit fairly decisively stupid. Bad Legion is pretty dang good. Neutral fits all 4 factions. NCR fits good, neutral, bad etc. Free Vegas does them all rather well as well.
The downside is, the karma system is so broken in New Vegas. There's a series I watched a while back where the guy playing had to kill everyone he saw in the game. He had positive karma from killing so many ncrcf, ghouls, and fiends.

I go for what ever ending I deserve. and then branch out from there. Catherine is the best example.

Depends on the protagonist(s). If I feel like they would go for the good ending, I choose that one, and vice versa. In the case of multiple endings that aren't really "good" or "bad", like GTA V, I once again do what the protagonist(s) would do, but with a bit of what I would do when I choose.

It depends on the mood I'm in. If I'm feeling good I'll go for the good ending. But there are times where my curiosity gets the better of me for the 'bittersweet/bad' ending.

First run in a game I generally go with the flow. Afterwards I just go with what ending I want.

When I invest into a game, I usually try to get a good ending as much as I can but most of the time I'm just satisfied that I actually got to an ending.

I usually go with the flow with many games. A good example is inFamous where they have a good ending and evil ending, based on my alignment I'll go with the ending that best represents them.

There was only one time I got a bad ending on purpose even though I was just playing as the good guy here. The game? Lollipop Chainsaw. I got the downer ending when I found out that I didn't save ALL(one of them died on his own)of the students who were in danger.

I went for the bad ending in The Ooze for the Sega Genesis since getting the good ending requires going across nearly every tile in the entire freaking game to find hidden teleporters that have no visual clue to their existence and ain't nobody got time for that!
But good ending usually.

I normally strive for the good ending because it's described as good. It makes me think that it's the ending the writers put the most effort into making, the most quality.
I honestly haven't played too many games with multiple endings that wasn't either just good/bad (inFamous) or just a shit-ton of endings that dynamically changes based on the actions during the game (Fallout NV or Mass Effect 2), so my opinion here isn't super definitive.

I try to get the best possible ending I can with my actions within the game. If there are multiple endings and I don't get the best one on the first go I'll try to get it on the second one. I don't really care for any ending lower than what I got on the first run.
