Do you always go for the good ending? The bad ending? Or go with the flow?

I always go for the good ending.

Unless it's in 3 different colours that have no meaning to the entire games choices.

Sounds like you played either Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Fable 2.

Pfft Fable 2 was so stupid.

I just reloaded the save and got all three ending achievements in the end which made the whole choice meaningless.

Fable's been going downhill since 1 anyway.

I played Fable 2 to the first dungen and got bored and never picked it back up. I watched the endings on Youtube. If the game does not want to be engaging, I won't feel bad for not playing it.

I enjoyed Fable 2, though I got the impression that it was poorly focused. You can do a ton of things involving relationships but that doesn't actually lead to anything. Seriously, there's an option to sex up a whole town at once, but there's absolutely no incentive to.

I get what I get at first, then I'll go for certain endings. In Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn, I got a bad ending and never had a chance to replay it for a different ending. In Fable 2, I chose to be a "good guy" by the time I ended the game, but I also came from the opposite end of the spectrum just for an achievement.

What you should know is that Fable goes in a downward spiral from the original idea (it's not a game btw, it's the literal idea that the liar who made the game said it could be)

The original idea > Fable 1 > Fable 2 > Fable 3 > the rest

While Fable 2 wasn't horrible, it was by no means on the same level as Fable 1, but I'd say if you've only played Fable 2, you should go and play Fable 1 or the Anniversary edition, and then go back to Fable 2 and see if you'll enjoy it.

Turns out my "go with the flow" is really just doing the "good" options most the time.

Mostly because that means a bigger reward of stuff (loot, EXP, quests, etc) later on, as opposed to an immediate reward. Seems to be a trend going on in certain wRPGs.

Well that yeah, but it was mainly a reference to Mass Effect 3.

I think Abes oddysee is the game that "scared" me into getting good endings.
