Mother Discussion
#1
To try to wash out the link of an april fools joke that I was dumb enough to buy(one of those moments). Lets talk about the Mother series from Nintendo(or known as Earthbound). The series has been known as one of Nintendo RPGS. and chances are some of you know Ness from Super Smash Bros if you haven't played the games. I only played Earthbound a bit, but I haven't beaten the game. The SNES cartridge of the game Earthbound is considered as a collectors item since its rare.

Only ever played anythine Mother related on Super Smash, I'm afraid.

Love the songs from the Brawl OST, though. Good stuff.

Really great game. Give it a go if you get the chance. So many good design choices and characters that it really does stick strong in your mind.

Never played the first one, but I played a lot of Earthbound and played through Mother 3. M3 is one of the best RPG's i've ever played. That fan made Mother 4 game doesn't look too bad

I played Earthbound on an Emulator back in high school and got up to the battle with Giygas before I forgot about it. The game was good but it's nothing to write home about. I guess it might have been that I played a good deal of RPGs before and after it, but I found it quite average for a gut busting, mind blowing innovative game. I'd almost say that Mother 3 was better from what I've seen.

Earthbound is a hella good game. Like, it isn't as it would completely revolutionize your thoughts on RPG but it is really fudging fun nonetheless. It was my highlight for 2012 so yeah. Never finished Mother 3 or started Mother though.

I've had it emulated before, but really just forgot about it. Mainly because I got into Sprite Ripping and the like.
Hell, the only game that looks good is Mother 3, and even then, I'd only play it if I'd stop being so lazy.

My mom's a cleaner at an elementary school.

Wait, what was the topic again? Oh. I have nothing.
