I scanned one image earlier, but then the internet went out and came back on and now I'm finding that the printer refuses to scan things all the way. Any suggestions?
Got it to work by going through the printer but going through the computer is still problematic.

This may sound overly simple but have you tried power cycling both the computer and printer?

Did with the printer but not the computer. Already got the scans through by going through printer so its not too big a concern now, but I'll report back next time I have to scan something.

Don't forget to check what your ink levels are like. No ink ? No... scanning, apparently.
Printer logic.

Oh, I'm well aware of the levels. My printer has convinced itself that the official ink in the cartridges isn't official so it bugs me about that sometimes. It scans though.

Ah, printer problems. We've all been there, I'm sure.
Also seriously (also SERIOUSLY), what the hell is the deal with the whole "no ink no scan" deal? It's stupid as fuzz and I can't even fathom why such a thing hasn't been fixed from newer devices. Unless it's a feature. In which case **** you HP.

Even more ridiculous was the time when my printer refused to scan because there was no printable paper in it. Took me forever to figure out what the thing wanted from me.
