Favorite Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Weapon Type
#1
I've only played a bit of This game on the Demo, And I own the Wii-U Version, but not a Wii-U (:3) But I've already played the demo extensively. My favorite Weapon Types would be the Sword and Shield, for it's beautiful speed attacks, and the Great Sword. I normally cant stand 2-h weapons, because they move so slow, but this one, against the monsters, the strength of it just blends in with it's slowness, I just love it.

WHY DID THIS THREAD DIE? RAWRGH PEOPLE BUY MORE MONSTER HUNTER AND APPARENTLY CAPS LOCK HELPS TO CONVINCE YA'LL

I've always been a Switch-Axe guy, I mostly just use the sword function, but the combination of the two allows for combos that flow much more quickly and a more fluently than the Great Sword, plus it just looks cool.

I played Monster hunter on the PSP, I think it was freedom United. I switched between dual blades and gunlance. Could never decide.

I generally don't like using weapons with a shield capability so my favourites are the Switch-Axe, Longsword and Dual Blade. I like the Switch-Axe the most cause it's fast enough once you get used to using it so it's easy to get the most out of its attack. Longsword is the same except you're giving up the attack for a boost in speed and faster combination attacks. Dual Blades are just fun to use every now and then.

I also plan to start using the Great Sword more often.

Oh jeez, My thread is alive again :3

I'm now more of a Long-Sword person. I use Dual Blades when I'm on gather missions though, so that they don't feel neglected.

And I do gotta admit, the switch axe is pretty freakin cool.
