Did you know that originally the game Rayman: Raving Rabbids started live as a PS2 game called Rayman 4?
Starting sometime between the development of King Kong the movie the game, there were plans of making a brand new Rayman game. The idea was to make the game for the PlayStation 2 and possibly port it to the Wii later on, but since the Wii was a short time from releasing and Ubisoft and Nintendo had a close relationship, they switched to developing it for the Wii. As they work on it, testing what would work, and played with the development kit they were given, they relised that it wouldn't fit the Wii's controller (stating that they were too different for a classic adventurer game like Rayman) and turned the game into a mini-game collection.
