Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone! Recently, Dazz and I started playing Guild Wars 2 again. With the realization that the base game is now completely free to play, we convinced a few friends to join, created a VG Resource guild, and have been having a blast. If anyone already plays or is interested in playing, you can join us in the Americas region on the Sorrow's Furnace server. Just add Petie.3250 or Dazz.1729 and message us for an invite to the guild!

If you don't already have the game, you can create an account and download the client from https://www.guildwars2.com. If you have any questions, let just know here and we'll do our best to help you out. Hopefully we'll see some of you guys there!

I'm not sure what server I was on off hand. Is it a pain to change server? I remember that it seemed more complicated than WoW was. I got the game like 2 months before Warlords of Draenor and only got to around level 12 or so. If I have to make a new character to change server, I wouldn't mind though since I didn't get too far.

Also, would recommend the game to anyone who stumble across this post. I didn't get too too far, but the reason I stopped playing was because Warlords of Draenor came out. It was more enjoyable than WoD was which is kind of sad because I love Warcraft.

Does this have to be downloaded to PC or is there an app that you know of? The only PC I have constant access to is at work, so...yeah. If I can download an app, I'll be more than happy to give it a whirl.

You can "guest" on other servers for free or pay a one-time fee in gems (it equates to a little over $30 given the population of our server) to permanently change your home world. If you only have the one character and don't care about it though, you can delete it and transfer for free.

And yeah, I play WoW as well but I've been enjoying GW2 much more, especially now that I'm playing with friends.

It does need to be downloaded and installed so I'm not sure you'll be able to join us :(

Also, for anyone who does intend to join, please post your name (account name that is - it's a name with a four digit number after it, visible in your friends list) here so I can add you!

I have a level 80 character boost apparently. Any suggestions for that? My lvl 16 (was higher than I remembered) was a sylvari engineer, but I made one of the shark cat people for this engineer.
