I'll admit I have a janky-ass flip phone that's worthless for anything but calls because otherwise I'd be in trouble from how much time I'd be the internet and playing this game.

When it launched, I was asking co-workers if they downloaded it. One got particularly salty and cut me off before I could even finish asking the question:

"NO! You know what I want? Some "Pokémon Go AWAY". It's good for getting kids up off their asses but these grown adults are going around catching Pokémon. A girl at my other job sent me a photo of a group of guys golfing with their phones out. It's ridiculous."

He went on and on and on and I nearly died laughing.

Ran a 10k this morning, with my iPad in my running bag running the game.
Only 5.3km registered, despite the path being pretty linear :(

With this new buddy update, and given that I only have three Bulbasaur candies, in order to evolve him into Venausaur, I only have to walk 366km ! Oh wait, with the broken tracking, more like 550km.
See you in a couple of months Venasaur.

A co-worker is pissed that the latest update included Pikachus with Santa hats, citing that Gen 2 Pokémon were supposed to be in the update. I'm not so sure about that.

^No-one said Gen 2 was going to be in the update apart from the hype-train.
It's why many people are pissed off at PoGo; they have huge expectations with every update that are inevitably not all satiated.

I'm still having fun going on it once or twice a day, trying to fill out my Pokédex.
