Perfect games.

Now we all know no game is perfect. Nothing is perfect, not even my Perfection Medals in Halo.

But we all have that ONE game (or perhaps many) that so near perfect they might as well be called perfect.

For me, it's Ghost Trick. It's damn near flawless and it's got everything you'd want from a game. Interesting Gameplay, Likable characters, a great story, simple yet challenging puzzles, great music, interesting graphics for a DS game. It's got everything except a good replayability factor

Sure, I could put games like God Hand and Skies of Arcadia in there, but I can see glaring flaws in both of those games that Ghost Trick just doesn't have.

How about you guys, what's your perfect game in your eyes?

F-Zero GX.
Awesome mechanics, great style, killer tunes and some of the greatest replayability known to man.
Puyo Puyo Tetris would be perfect if it was ever released outside of Japan.

I would probably say Ico. It's far from my favrate game, but it's a great example of how to merge story telling with gameplay.

Kingdom Hearts 2. Great story, great gameplay, great graphics (during its time), nice mechanics, and I really love it.

I'd say the Dot Hack GU Trilogy is about as close to perfect as you can get. The graphics for the time were incredible, and different yet somehow the ascetic felt like the extension of dot hack roots it was supposed to be. The story was incredibly well done, the character development was paced perfectly. No characters really felt like they were there just for the sake of being there, the combat was flawless and fun and the pay off to everything was done perfectly. Even the voice acting in English was incredible, relying on the best talent at the time to make something amazing. I honestly can't think of anything wrong with GU as a trilogy. I remember when I beat the first game and found out the second one was still a ways off, I played it again, all the way through, this time more thoroughly than the first and still couldn't wait to play the second one, and I even started doing that with the second one until I was surprised to find the third one as one of my gifts for my birthday that year. I also played the third one twice, the second time, not carrying over data just to see what the difference was. 6 months later, I played them all again and enjoyed it just as much as before. I would say honestly, that dot hack GU is not only the best anime game trilogy of all time, but arguably, one of the best RPG series on the PS2. I can't think of anything to match.

I have a small list:

Super Smash Bros. Melee
Persona 3/4
Majora's Mask
Okami
KOTOR II
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2

These are the games I'd call perfect.
