Oregon Trail II 25th Anniversary Edition

I would have posted this in another thread, but this was so cool it needed it's own post.
I went to Washington D.C. for work and stopped at a Salvation Army on my way back to the air port and was stopped by an employee. He wanted help on this sweet 3-way splitter (8 inputs, 3 outputs) because he had no idea what it was. 
After helping him, he showed me this (at $15) 


He knocked it down to $10 for me because I helped him. Why is it on here and not on the "Going Bankrupt on Material Items thread? (http://www.vgfacts.com/forums/thread-37.html) 
Simply because of the pictures bellow (and read below)







1.) It is sealed. 









2.) It has that certificate. However....

 
It is unmarked. Why? You will see...







This is where it gets good. Hopefully before you scroll down to the last picture, let me give you a bit of a back story.
Oregon Trail (or MECC gaming in general) was made in Minnesota. I grew up (and still live) in Minnesota. 
I grew up at the Canadian boarder in a small town with under 3000 people. Not saying where, but if you know where Hockey Town USA is, you know where I am coming from. 
Anyways, I moved down to the Twin Cities. This is where I feel most at home. Unfortunately, MECC no longer exists, otherwise I would be trying to meet some of the developers there. They were located less than 30 minutes away from where I live now. 
Now why am I telling you this? I honestly don't know. I guess this is find is really REALLY cool. This exact copy was sent to D.C. addressed to Sue Kamp. Education Mgr. in the Software Publishers Association. 
Just to think that this game was made in the Twin Cities and sent to D.C., just to be brought back to the Twin Cities unopened.

One thing jumped at me while I was browsing the pictures: Kallio is a Finnish surname :D

In any case, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen for 10 bucks, hands down. That's one hell of a find.

That is really nice. I remember playing Oregon Trail when I still had one of those macintoshes.
