PS4 Slim is already starting to re-use old PS4 bundles
#1
Just, look at this: http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/consoles/pla...dle/134658

It is literally the exact same bundle as the one that came out for Uncharted 4 earlier this year, to the tee. There's nothing different about it save for the size of the system. The PS4 slim isn't even an upgrade in any way to the original PS4 but here we go, they are already planning a PS4 bundle for the holidays, right after the PS4 Pro comes out, like, within a week of it.  Why would you release something like this two months after the original version, and for that matter, announce it before the original version even comes out?

I think Sony is getting cocky and I don't like it. The Pro already seems like a waste because there's no way with those specs that it's running at native 4K, but the slim already seems even more pointless. Adding and/or advertising bundles for it before the system releases is not only complicating things for the casual holiday console buyer, and making the hardcore fans question what's going on, but it's seriously the same thing as the current Uncharted 4 Bundle. I don't play on a PC, but I know enough about building what you want that it doesn't confuse me, this however is reaching those kinds of levels and not everyone can keep up or understand. Imagine during a sale, you have both the PS4, and the PS4 slim Uncharted 4 bundles at the same price and someone wants the slim but didn't notice that they picked up the regular one. Wouldn't that not only be confusing, but highly annoying? Yet here we are, Sony is getting stupid and it bothers the hell out of me.

Sony won this gen by default. They can get away with anything now.

Remember when people had an outrage at PS+ costing money? Remember when people had an outrage of PS+ costing "more" money?

Honestly, this gen has been awful and I can't wait for it to be over with.

I think game-wise the generation has been great, especially this year and 2015, but as far as the consoles go, it's pretty much shit.

Really? This is the "no geams" generation in my opinion. Everything is multiplat, and nothing I've seen so far has been good. There is no reason to own a console besides a handful of games.

The 3DS and Vita are the only things that actually have some games going for them, and that's saying something when Nintendo are pretty incompetent, and the Vita is dead.

I honestly can't name 10 PS4 exclusives, or hell 10 great games this generation has had so far. It's either been a multiplatform game that hasn't changed over the past few years (Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Call of Duty) or an exclusive that doesn't run well on the console, or plays badly. Uncharted 4 being an exception to this for the PS4.

It's a shame since if this was last gen. It would be around 2010 for the Wii, and 2008/9 for the 360/PS3. Both of those consoles had some great games by that time. Multiplatform or not, there were new and interesting games. Continuations of last gen games that were fun and a good line of exclusives on all platforms. (Yes, even the 360)

What exactly are you expecting out of games lately? God Eater 2, Abzu, Valley, Ratchet and Clank, the Tales games, Quantum Break, and several others are all great. Yes, the handhelds are getting more, and great games, but that's not a bad thing. Also, the Vita is not really dead. It's true that Sony isn't making anything themselves that's exclusive for it, but The Legend of Hero's Dragon Quest Builders, The Corpse Party series. several indies and a lot of other titles are keeping the system alive and worth having easily. the 3DS' lineup is actually worse this year than it was last year, but it's still great, and I see no problem with that. I also don't see much of a problem with Multi-plats at they rid people of a lot of people bragging about this and that, and also gives YouTubers who only make video's trying to bring the console they chose up while bringing the other one down, little to talk about. When was the last time you heard anyone with a decent amount of respect call anyone a "Sony Pony" which was quite frankly, a derogatory term. Getting rid of stuff like that is a good thing.
