The Chit-Chat Thread v3: Electric Potpourri
TFW you realize that you can't use the word "endgame" in a setence without people thinking its an Avengers reference.

EDIT: Like, I legit saw a comment on a video game trailer saying stuff like "this trailer has many endgame spoilers" (as in, you know, spoilers about the final segments of the game) and the replies to that comment were FILLED with confused people who tought he was talking about the Avengers.

So I recently found about this place in Detroid called The Cave of Adullah. Its a martial arts school that also teaches people to control their emotions, be responsible, ect. It even appeared on the news.

So today I saw this happening:

Anon 1: "Man, Gen Z is so weak and fragile."

Anon 2: "Gen Z is weak and fragile? People in the 60s had meltdowns just because a black person was in the same store as them. LMFAO"

Yeah.... What Anon 2 says doesn't disprove anything. If anything, it proves that both generations were weak and fragile (albeit for different reasons). What Anon 2 said doesn't contradict the point of Anon 1.

I agree that the whole "Gen Z is weak and fragile" can get annoying at times, but saying "this older generation is just as bad if not worse" doesn't prove anything.

... Also, maybe is just me but I feel like generation gaps are getting worse and worse.

For those who don't know, the "/s" at the end of a sentence denotes sarcasm. I'm saying this because there's a surprising amount of people that don't know what the "/s" stands for.

This is nothing new, people. The /s has been around since the late 2000's/early 2010's.

This no longer counts as news so that's why I decided to post it here.

So Iceland's Ministry of Tourism made a video making fun of the Metaverse while at the same time promoting their country.

Throwback Thursday! Remenber when a cat attacked his owner because he got too excited (apparently he was acting)? NSFW warning: the video and Imgur link feature blood and puncture wounds.

I don't understand why Inside Edition added sounds that weren't in the original video.

I find it funny when the Yankees get weirded out just because they see someone eating Pizza with a fork. That shit even made it to the news once (there was a politician in NYC who ate Pizza that way) and my reaction was this: "does THIS really count as News??".

I'm sure this is gonna blow your American mind but... yes, people actually eat Pizza with a fork. No, eating Pizza with a fork doesn't make you a "fancy nancy" (whatever that means). This doesn't always happen, tho. If you are at a restaurant then its normal to eat it with a fork. But if you are at home then sure, use your hands. This happens not just in Italy (AKA the home of Pizza) but in other parts of the world, too.

But seriously, its so funny seeing people go "Are you eating Pizza with a FORK?!?!?!?!?!?1111 EEEEEEWWWWW. GTFO you fancy nancy! That's not how you are supposed to eat pizaa RREEEEEEEEEEEE".

Imagine being so arrogant that you go and tell the Italians that they are eating Pizza the wrong way. Bruh.

EDIT: here's the news report that I was talking about.

Again, people think that this SHIT really count as news? Talk about first world problems...

Remenber back when the word "simp" was used as a short for "simpleton"? Nowadays 'simp' means something completely different.

Remenber back when people were freaking out over zombie deer? No, this is not a reference to a movie or anything. I'm talking about real life.

Yo, I didn't find the GIF. But I found the original scene which was the basis for the GIF. It's from the film True Lies!

Spoiler:Also, it was a fighter jet that fired the missile. Not a helicopter
