Mukbang vs Competitive Eating
#1
So, my older daughter and I have agreed that we're going to eat huge bowls of Ramen noodles for kicks and giggles. It should only cost about...... calculating......... $3.52.

I was Imgur and saw a gif of a girl eating a huge bowl of noodles. In the comments, I read the term mukbang.

So, basically mukbang (from my understanding) is a trend that started in Korea where people broadcast themselves eating large quantities of food.

Equally, if not more, impressive is competitive eating. The big names i know of are Matt Stonie and Joey Chestnut. Below is a video of Stonie eating a huge burrito as part of his training followed by the 2017 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Damn!

Does anyone else watch people pig out?

This is the thing I point to when people say games can't be sports. Can't say I've watched it to any capacity, but its one of those things I wish I could do once.

Yeah, I've seen these. It's ridiculous. I have no idea how a small Asian girl can eat like 20 McDonald hamburgers one after the other in like an hour.

I'm a pretty hefty guy and I can barely eat one without feeling full.

We did it. I don't exactly know why, but my older daughter wanted to record it. My stomach hurts and I don't want more noodles for a long time.
