Elizabeth's letter
#1
EDIT: Might aswell throw in a spoiler warning here, so here it is *SPOILERS* ;)

I managed to decipher the letter old Elizabeth wrote to her younger self.

So I thought I'd might explain how I did it, since I don't have any other source than myself right now.

Anyway, here's the cipher board: http://imgur.com/bh6olnM,vj9Bfx3#0
And here's the letter: http://imgur.com/bh6olnM,vj9Bfx3#1

If you want to, you can try to decipher the cipher board, it's fully possible to do it by only looking at the picture. If you're lazy however, here's the solution (I obviously can't write the symbols, so I'll write the location instead):

A=A1
B=B3
C=C5
D=D7
E=E9
F=F11
G=G13
H=H15
I=I17
J=J19
K=K21
L=L23
M=M25
N=N1
O=O3
P=P5
Q=Q7
R=R9
S=S11
T=T13
U=U15
V=V17
W=W19
X=X21
Y=Y23
Z=Z25

You should see a pattern here by now :P

The thing is, there's very many symbols that resembles the letter 3 here, it is possible to tell them apart from each other, but it can be hard.

What isn't possible however, is to tell the 3 different ":" apart, it can mean F, H or X . So all you can do here is to try what suits best. The ":" can also mean "." and "-", which make it all more confusing.

Anyway, if you'd try to decipher it it will say:

"I am a code. I should probably be changed over for something much more official in the future. But I'll do as a stand-in for now I suppose."

EDIT: Changed the "or" to "for" as DidYouKnowGaming pointed out for me.

This shows that the developers actually forgot to change the letter.

That's all I have to say, I'll post this to the Bioshock Infinite trivia now :)

You say "or" was going to be "hor".

Given the way the sentence is structured, wouldn't it make more sense if that was "for"?

Thank you for correcting me :D At the time I deciphered that word I only thought ":" could mean H or X, so that's probably why :) anyway, I'll change it now!
