You'll Notice something Different about Dodgeball in Mario Sports Mix's E3 Trailer

You might notice in the E3 Trailer that the HP Metre in Dodgeball looks different from what it does in the final game.

This is what the HP Metre looks like in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (they look the same for obvious reasons). The Beta HP Metre during Dodge Ball in Mario Sports Mix looks almost like that You can also see for yourselves in these gameplay videos of both games:

How is this not trivia, I did what Psycospacecow asked for so that this Trivia Evidence Piece could sound more convincing. I mean VGFacts has been known to post trivia pieces about stuff from trailers not seen in final games lots of times before I'm pretty sure, for example with these:
*Placeholder for one of the Bosses in Sonic Generations: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/10586/
*Placeholder for Mario's voice clips before Charles Martinet came into action: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/6316/
*Placeholder for Digga designs done by myself: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/6537/
*Placeholder from the Reveal Trailer for Yoshi's New Island: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/6993/

To quote the PM I sent since you also decided to post this publicly:

Quote:Just because something was accepted in the past doesn't necessarily mean that it should have been. I honestly don't feel that random elements that didn't make it out of development are trivia worthy. For it to be notable, in my opinion at least, it would need to be a major planned feature or something like a story-important character that was cut.

An extremely minor change to the HUD didn't seem notable enough for me to approve but it might have been to someone else. The approval process is definitely a bit subjective and standards can vary from person to person.

Understood, I'll find something else for Mario Sports Mix trivia instead.
