PlayStation Classic is happening!

Currently, the games for it are Tekken 3, FF7, Jumping Flash!, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 and Wild Arms. 15 more are to be announced, and it's coming out December 3rd. Not a lot of other details are out right now, but it is interesting to see it happening. There are some downfalls to it though, but I'll post what those are later, it's kinda late, and I'm tired. It is exciting though.

Looks like Ape Escape won't be one of titles if the Controller is of any indication.

Crossing fingers for Castlevania:SOTN.

They better not be jerks about how many units they'll produce.

As of yet I'm fine with just keeping my PS2 to play PS1 games but maybe they'll sway me once I see the entire library.

Here are my thoughts about the PlayStation Classic's shortcomings, and some hopes for the system. https://www.facebook.com/notes/repentant...483560290/

It's too expensive for me. I could get the original plus a bunch of games for it without reaching 100$ (or you know, get the PS2) and later on I could expand my game library. Where with this one you're stuck with 20 games.

Unfortunately, the point of these "Classic" consoles is that they are meant to be nostalgic collector items for the masses that can't be bothered with going thru the trouble of finding the original console or buying the games themselves.

The incentive is that they are pre-loaded with games(saving the Herculian Task of changing the disc) that are considered gems and the use of an HDMI port.

Not trying to defend it, as I don't own the NES Classic or the SNES Classic and they are made for a specific audience(the nostalgia kinds). Plus I agree that the PS Classic is too expensive. Really torned up about this though.

I hope its the version of Tekken 3 with Gon in it. Tekken 5's version was the arcade one that didn't have him, but iirc it was a licensing issue.
