E3 2019

With E3 news currently appearing at a decent rate, it's probably about that time to go ahead and take a look at the stories, and some rumor, and compile all of them into a thread so we can all keep track. Truth be told this year's E3 is feeling pretty small, but who knows what can happen in the next 12 weeks before things kick-off.

Halo Infinite has already been confirmed for E3, but what about this: https://comicbook.com/gaming/2019/02/22/...tails-rpg/

According to rumors regarding Halo Infinite, it's set to have light RPG elements, and some player choice Ala Mass Effect as well. Some rumors also suggest that Infinite is a soft reboot for the series, which could bring about all sorts of problems for fans since Halo 5 is not resolved, and a lot of people were hoping the next game would fix it's issues, not just erase them.

EA will not have a press conference at E3 this year: https://in.ign.com/bioware-edmonton-proj...ess-confer

Personally, I'm okay with this. EA's conference last year was like listening to any being in a political position lie their way through a press briefing they didn't want to be at, and it saves time not to have to worry about watch 90 minutes of microtransaction, quite frankly, bullshit thrown in our faces while we wait for the real stuff to begin, provided that real stuff isn't leaked before the shows start.

Devolver Digital will still have a "press conference" https://www.dualshockers.com/devolver-di...2y9nxvKnes

Personally, I'm not okay with this. No seriously, these fake parody conferences have really turned me off from anything Devolver is actually doing. Parody itself is fine and all, but it's so hard to tell what they are actually releasing, or what's just a joke and that's the point where the fun is lost. As someone who wants to become a professional journalist one day, Devolver is a huge detractor from the whole E3 showing, and I am over their conferences and how over the top they are.

Sad thing is, the only conferences we have confirmed for this year's E3 are Microsoft's and Devolver Digital. Hopefully Bethesda is at least wise enough to back off this year unless they can show some actual gameplay of Elder Scrolls 6, and Sony still ends up doing something on their own outside of the E3 space, because this year's E3 looks like it's gonna suck this year, and someone needs to jump in and save it.

Bethesda has become the first company to release a time for their conference at E3 this year: https://www.dualshockers.com/bethesda-e3...m-eternal/

June 9th at 5:30 PM PT time will be the date they pick their poison. Given all that's happened with Fallout 76, it will be interesting to see what happens, but one thing we do know is that Doom Eternal will be there.

Well, the two main reasons you're supposed to care about Bethesda's E3 conference are not going to be there this year: https://www.gameinformer.com/index.php/p...-this-year

While I'm not surprised, at least about Elder Scrolls, this pretty much promises that E3 this year, is going to be Fallout 76 levels of bad for Bethesda. I mean, the only other game they have that is going to generate hype is Doom Eternal, and unless Fallout 5 or somehow, New Vegas 2 gets announced at E3, what reason is there to care exactly?

Nintendo's E3 website is up, but it doesn't even have their conference time up so that's weird: https://gematsu.com/2019/03/nintendo-lau...19-website

The PC Gaming Show has been announced with a time slot: https://gematsu.com/2019/04/pc-gaming-sh...or-june-10

So far, with a conference time at 10:00 AM, The PC Gaming Show is earliest conference on the 2019 E3 card, which I suppose is fairly normal, they do tend to be early so as not to interfere with other conferences.

For the first time ever, VR is going to have an E3 conference, and it does appear that it's going to cover everything VR: https://www.dualshockers.com/the-e3-vr-s...-uploadvr/

Oddly this one is set for 12:00 PM EST, which means 9 AM PST. Since the show always takes place in L.A. times are never announced outside of PST, but with this edition, conference times are as Follows:

Xbox: June 9th, 1:00 PM

Bethesda: June 9th, 5:30 PM

VR (all VR systems) Showcase: June 10th, 9:00 AM

PC Gaming Show: June 10th, 10:00 AM

Limited Run Games: June 10th, 12:00 PM

Ubisoft: June 10th, 1:00 PM

Square Enix: June 10th, 6:00 PM.

Now June 10th has just become insane.

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered has leaked: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/e3-201...0-6467476/

What makes this so viable is that a Switch port is also announced. Level 5 had said a while back that every game they make, they want to take to the Switch, so if it really is coming there, it makes a lot of sense that this could happen.
