Tina Armstrong's inspiration and references?

Tina is from Dead Or Alive has several inspirations for her character.

In relation to Bass, her character shares similarities Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke Hogan. Like Bass, Hulk Hogan was known to be very protective of his daughter, portrayed in their stage personas and reality show, Hogan Knows Best. Like Tina, Brooke has pursued careers outside of pro-wrestling. Including modeling, acting, and music.


Tina's 4th costume in DOA2 and DOA2 Hardcore is based on Astrid's outfit from the Shadowman Issue 6 cover.


Tina's default costume in DOA3 is based on the outfit of real-life WWE pro-wrestler Terri Runnels.


Her 2nd costume in DOA4 is from a dropped design from DOA2. (bottom right)


Tina's 5th costume in DOA4 is an unused costume that was meant for Ayane in DOA++. (top right)


Her 3rd and 5th costumes from DOA5 are based on the outfit of real-life WWE pro-wrestler Maryse.


Tina's 14th costume from DOA Ultimate is based on the 2003 promotional model outfit for the Xbox
