E3 starts mid June, right? I'm not sure how frequent Nintendo Directs are I guess this will happen within the next 4 weeks which is pretty exciting. I bet it will be a teaser to get people excited for a more detailed information during their special directs during E3.

There next Nintendo Direct will be on a June 11th and will be an hour long.

Strange. I thought Nintendo said they would be having at least one nintendo direct before e3. Guess the first day of e3 is good too.

Characters I think need to be included would be someone new from the Metroid Series as their own separate, playable character (a smaller version of Ripley, anyone?) and another playable character from the F-Zero series.

Why? Samus and Captain Falcon are the only characters in the first Super Smash Bros. that have not had any other characters from their series appear as a playable character in Melee or Brawl.

Now, I'm a massive F-Zero Nut, and I have some characters I would suggest as being added, in order, but it's long, and to save space... And, I would argue that only one would deserve the spot. I ordered them in what I believe most likely, not my favorite.

I thought the other day that they could possibly put the game in a 3-Dimensional plane instead of the same side scrolling look. Like in a 3-D Zelda or 3-D Mario game. I think it would mostly be good for single player, because in the multiplayer it would obviously be hard for four people to play in a 3-D area like that. So there's that.

The charm of smashbros is its amazing gameplay and it's multiplayer. I would be upset if they completely modified the game like this.

I just thought it would be a cool concept for the single player mode.

I want actual alternate costumes already.

They did it with Wario on Brawl, so I dunno why they didn't just do it for everyone else.

Same here, but I'm sort of worried that with Nintendo's sudden interest in DLC they'll charge for this kind of thing, which would be bad.
Just let me wear the f*cking Fusion suit Nintendo, please, for the children.

I swear if Nintendo starts doing bullshit DLCs too, I'm out.

I wouldn't mind aesthetic dlc personally. If I want it, that's cool, if I don't I don't care. It'd be even cooler though if they do that but offer a points system to unlock it, not currency but stuff from streetpass or something.

If they do have extra content they should do something like AC3 did on multiplayer on the Wii U. Which is that they have a point system where you can buy a special costume for a pretty high amount of in game points and each costume pack is different every week. So if they do it like that, I wouldn't mind. Then again this is coming from someone that doesn't have the money to pay for extra content.

That would be a good idea, then again, this is their first time working with DLC.
