I hope they keep R.O.B., he was lot of fun to mess around with and I have fond memories of my friend and I going against two max-level Ganondorfs as ROB.
I just really need confirmation of Ike. I'm getting a little anxious, they dropped Roy so I wouldn't count out them dropping Ike. I hope they didn't, he's my main. I'd have to go with Samus or Link, probably. We like Ike! We like Ike! Do need Ike! :D

So it's not official. Hypercat, if it's not from the Smash Bros website or directly from Sakurai it's probably not official.

Mr. Game and Watch, yes. ROB, no. What else could you even do with ROB anyway? Game and Watch had a dozen of installments and the way the fighting style represents them works. With ROB? Why? Yea. It was the same person who thought Ice Climbers, Olimar, Little Mac, and Lucario were good choices over Ridley, King K. Rool, Kristal, and Simon Belmont.

So after the Nintendo Derect stream, we found out 4 new charicters. There will not be any alternate forms so Zelda and Sheik, and Samus and Zero Suit are diffrent charicters.

This also means that the newly revealed Charizard is not going to have Pokemon Trainer. I can deal with that.

Well 4 out of 5 is not too bad. It's not that I don't like Greninja (that is such a dumb name), It's just that I really don't think of him when I think Pokemon (unlike Mewtwo or Lucario). I don't think we need any more pokemon (sorry Jigglypuff and Mewtwo)

I'm actually really happy that they split characters and removed transformations. I no longer have to worry about becoming Samus while playing as ZSS. And I really like the new design for ZSS, I can't wait to play and see how the rocket boots actually handle.
Also, I'm super excited for Greninja, so far my favorite Pokemon from the new gen.

So I was watching Screwattack's reaction video to the direct and they made a good point. Now that Pokémon Trainer is not a thing anymore and we have Charizard as a seperate character, will the rest of the starters be available? Furthermore, since we already have a fire starter (Charizard) and water starter (Greninja), will there be a grass starter from another region?
If that really is going to be the case, I'm rooting for Sceptile.

They keep saying they didn't want Samus to be designed as "hot" but they fail every time. Nintendo please.
That being said her body looks terrible. I really hope these aren't the final designs because it looks like they're using up-scaled Brawl models. Plus Samus looks disfigured as heck.
