Wayforward released this a few days ago on their kickstarter page on the updates of Shantae half genie hero(this was the last bit of the update). They just confirmed that they want to see Shantae in smash bros.

^ Cool Idea, I could see that happening considering Nintendo and Wayford are on good terms currently.

Phil Spencer is cool with Banjo being in Smash, Nicalis wants Quote (Cave Story) in Smash, Konami wants Snake in Smash (they retweeted a dude asking for votes for Snake), and Yacht Club Games wants Shovel Knight in Smash. I can't wait to see who makes the final cut.

If they make intro videos for the DLC characters(which may not likely happen) how you guys imagine the characters showing up in Smash?

Banjo-Kazooie!! Getting Jiggy With IT!! enters in by: drives in on the Kart Shovel Knight!! Is Digging Your Grave!! enters in by: waking up by the camp fire Snake!! Slithers into Battle!! enters in by: Box Shantae!! Shaking Up The Battle!! enters in by: no clue. Maybe a puff of smoke Quote!! ....... I've got nothing. enters in by: flying in using the jet pack Speaking of Shaking, you know who would make a good assist trophy? Marina from Mischief Makers. This would be a cool DLC AT.
