Your Pokemon X/Y Thoughts (SPOILERS ALERT)

I really want to read Honedge's Pokedex entry. I have a feeling it would be very interesting.

It's been revealed I just don't know where to go look for it. Possibly the official Pokemon site?

I think it looks alright, though im probably bias since I'll grow to love anything as long as its a Pokemon.

Honedge
Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit inhabits a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. If you were to carelessly take this blade in hand, you may find that blue cloth wrapping around you...draining the energy from your body!


Just as I thought, a spirit would posses a sword. The draining the energy from your body sounds pretty creepy.

I figured that it'd have some f'd up pokedex entry after he mentioned it being a possessed sword. So many possessed items used as Pokémon... I mean, are they really even Pokémon to begin with? They're just poor, lost human spirits possessing random items. Then some kid comes up, snatches them into a tiny ball and uses them to fight animals with superpowers.

Yeah maybe the sword design isn't great. Maybe a skull in the center of the sword would be nice.

Or pretty much anything that would make it resemble something more than a mysteriously floating sword.

Also, why does it always have to be a human spirit? Why can't it just be a spirit of another Pokémon?

Eh it's only a first level. It will probably evolve into something way cooler. (Or .. Dunno, three swords glued together.)

I'm actually thinking its going to be like Chimecho and only have this one form.

Because then it would have the traits of those Pokemon inside, not really making it's own Pokemon.

Yeah guess you're right.

I think its high time they make a large movepool for poor Ninjask. It has a lot of potential if the moveset could only be awesome.

Wonder if they'll make an evolved form of Electrode or have a different stone that evolves Staryu to something else. just saying.....

True, but Ninjasks role is a baton passer, and one of the best(if not, thee best) at that. I frikkin love Ninjask to the point it's on my main team. Love the stat boosts it gives to my team. To to mention, using X-scissor will rip through everyone. Giving Ninjask more is definitely welcome but damn is frikkin' amazing as is.

Because then it would have the traits of those Pokemon inside, not really making it's own Pokemon.

But the ghosts in Pokémon tower never had the traits of their former selves (not without the use of Silph Scope, at least). I guess these creatures lose their powers after death.

At this point I feel the need to point out that I've kinda been out of the loop since the third generation. My point still kinda stands since Chimecho was a basic pokémon in its debut game.

What if some pokemon had three type combinations?

Like Charizard is Fire/Flying/Dragon type? Normal against ice/water/electric. Supper effective against Dragon and rock type.
