Nintendo is bringing its E3 games to Bestbuy's across North America

AND MY TOWN'S ON THE LIST. KEE-YAH BITCHES, I'M PRETTY EXCITED.

Via Kotaku......

"Nintendo just released the list of more than 75 U.S. cities where Best Buy stores will be holding public, playable demonstrations of games the company will be showing off at E3. The demos will take place during four-hour blocks on two different days during the week of E3.

The list of games to be shown was not provided in the release, nor were the locations of the 21 Best Buy stores in Canada also participating in the showcase. Nintendo directed people to this URL for more information as E3 gets closer."

And that URL mentioned is here:

So, who else got lucky? I'm actually really surprised that my city was picked. Fresno is a much bigger city and would've been a better choice. BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING!

Nearest one is over 100 miles away.
WORTH IT

While Nintendo showing off E3 games at stores for people to try is a really good idea not just for marketing purposes but also making people smiling at the new Mario game, Wind Waker HD or the other games. There is one problem...

I live at the other side of the Atlantic Ocean so who knows how many miles is the nearest Best Buy (as far as I know all the Best Buys closed down in the UK and they were the other side of England to where I was anyway, hoping something similar is done over here though).

My city wasn't selected. NO. Oh well.

Updated the OP to add in all the cities and states.

Wellllll, I've got family in Toledo I should go visit anyway... Too bad West Virginia is skipped. The drive to Huntington or Charleston wouldn't be that bad.

I don't get why they picked the cities so close to each other in California, they could have spread them out a little more and sadly none of them are even close to me at all.

Yeah, they did a really horrible job of spreading it out. All of them are within an hour of each other, except for Visalia which is about four hours away. Maybe it has something to do with whether or not the other Bestbuys in California wanted to participate? Either way it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Well it seems as if I'm one of the few who got lucky, which never really happens to me. If anyone interested, I'll come on here and post some hands on impressions and what not.

That would be much appreciated.

Excellent! After E3 I'll ask around here and see which games you guys are most interested in. I imagine there will be quite a few people checking them out, which means I probably won't get around to seeing all of them.

Houston AND The Woodlands? That's like a half hour drive from each other.

Well, I live in Ohio, but the sites in Kentucky are all closer to me. That's really saying something. And all those sites in Kentucky are like an hour from each other.

There are only 4 demos, apparently. I'm calling 3D Mario, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 and either Luigi U or Wind Waker HD (although I'd love to be pleasantly surprised by something new).

That said, I don't even get to experience them! I'm totally jealous, but then again I guess England has had a fair bit of Nintendo love in recent times, with the Kid Icarus tournaments and Wii U Experience Tour.
