Real life always takes precedence so if people later choose to leave because of something that's going on offline, that's fine. I prefer that to having to remove people for other reasons.
Also, while there are 10 people listed on the staff page, the Site Staff group has no forum abilities and, for the most part, Tech Admins are here to support the server and won't generally get involved with day to day running of the forum.
The three Administrators are all rather busy outside of the site as well so, while we do try to keep up with what's going on here, we don't have time to keep an eye on everything and that's where the Moderators come in, the four of whom I'm sure will be more than enough to keep the peace here given that this community generally doesn't seem to need a lot of moderation anyway :)

What I've learned from all of this is that I have no actual reason for being on the site because Petie is way better with words than I am.
Thus I'd like to take this time to announce we're demodding everyone, removing all rights, and Petie is going to run the entire site. We've just plugged a lan cable straight into his cerebral cortex. He should be all patched in within the hour.

Well congratulations to the both of you, and while I wish yesterday's events had not occurred I think that the appointment of you two as mods should keep this from happening again, or at least for a while...hopefully.

I rarely check this part of the forum so I hadn't seen this thread. Now, personally, I didn't think we needed two new mods to replace an old one but I am happy with the choices. Congratulations to both of you, you deserved it!
Btw. Am I late for the initiation ritual? I left my robe home.
