Not sure if gusta....

So, what you guys think of this?

Personally, I think they got Coach and Ellis mixed up.

This is a transfer from the dykg forum.

I'm all for crossovers and a huge fan of RE so it's all good for me. I'm not gonna get RE6 for PC just for this, though, as I already have it on PS3. I do have L4D2 on PC so I'll at least be getting that end of the deal.

I brought it the other day, so I guess I'll find out what the L4D2 content is like.

It is a very interesting idea crossovering a zombie horror (That has now turned into more of an action shooter) with a another zombie action. It would be great to see what the end result because it would just interest me XD

And would they put the Resi characters into the left 4 dead game?

According to the video, yes. I also hear that at least Ogroman, Napad and Lepotitsa from the RE6 monsters will be appearing in L4D2.

I think I'll take this as a standalone game, otherwise it's obvious to see that fans of the two series are going to find flaws.

Let's see how it stands on its own two feet

Oh, but it won't. It will stand on stilts, the other being RE6 and the other L4D2. All this is is merely additional characters and enemies available in the parent games.

I'd love a full crossover though.

Never really gave L4D2 a chance after I burnt out on L4D1 nor have I played RE6.

What's wrong with crossovers? Aren't Nintendo, Nippon Ichi, SNK and Konami as guilty to that anyway.

Capcom must be outsourcing all the work to fanfic writers.

Oh yeah, forgot Namco from my original post.

Anyway, SNK is also known for crossovering its own franchises like Metal Slug, King of Fighters, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury and a crossover of them all, NeoGeo Battle Coliseum.

As for NIS, they do the same thing with crossovering their own franchises, in addition to games like Cross Edge and Trinity Universe.

Capcom's Versus series is also known as, well, a series so they are kinda expected to push out a new one of those every once in a while. If you count Smash Bros. as one, then same should apply to all Capcom games with the word "Versus" in the title.

Furthermore, Namco x Capcom, Cross Edge, Megaman x Street Fighter and all SNK vs. games were not made by Capcom. Those games just incorporated their characters.
