Rubbish at Tekken2, any tips?

Found Tekken 2 in a charity shop, completley terrible at it, what is the best strategy? (Due to the fiddly controls)
Is it a matter of remembering some of the combos?

What you want to do is go into the sound test menu, click on the fourth option from the left, then enter the following code: DOWN DOWN UP UP LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT A B START in order to unlock Saiyan Barraka, you can then use the down-right-X combo to launch his Haukdoken and instantly defeat any character in the game, just remember to beware the levitating Daffodil, strike it three times and you're out.






Yeah just pick a character and focus on learning some of the basic combos, then move on to more advanced combos once you've got the basics down.

Combos are only a portion of all fighting games. Mechanics and fundamentals first. Combos come last. What character are you playing?

Can't much help ya, not good with tips, but if you spot Tekken 5, it has 1-3 along with itself and some old rail shooter.
