I will give you this much. Grinding has always been tedious in Pokemon, the johto remakes being pretty guilty of this, the cell phone is still terrible, and I do miss the real gambling though I understand the reasons why they went with the new system.

To anyone who was considering not getting the ORAS remakes, I encourage you to change your mind. To me, without a doubt, not only is this the best set of remakes we've ever had, but it just might be the best Pokemon main series game I have ever played, and that's saying a lot because I really don't enjoy the original versions much at all. These games are amazing though.

Once I realized you can catch Eevee in the wild in Pokemon Y I decided to make a full team of eeveelutions and name them after the various evolutions of Veemon from Digimon, in honor of my Pokemon SoulSilver nuzlocke tank, Veemon the Umbreon.

Right now I have in my team
ExVeemon, still an Eevee but soon an Espeon
BlackExV-mon, Umbreon
UlforceVeemon, Sylveon
Raidramon, Jolteon
Flamedramon, Flareon

There's also my Charmeleon because I have no means to evolve Depthmon, Veedramon or DemiVeemon yet.

I've cried at least 10+ times while playing Omega Ruby. All because of the nostalgia. As a kid, Pokemon Ruby was my all time favorite game and I spent countless hours on it. The first time I cried was when I saw the intro with the drop of water falling from the leaf. The second one was when you see your character playing the originals with the old music playing in the background. I also remember crying when I opened up my Pokedex because it looks so similar to a Game Boy Advanced and it made the sound. It all just reminded me of my old Game Boy days. I'm a huge crybaby.

So you know how, on Pokémon X & Y, you get the Wonder Trade, and thereupon waves upon waves of zigzagoon and other such gems of the Pokémon world.

Well, after a few months without playing, my girlfriend picks up her copy and decides to do a Wonder Trade. What does she get first try ? A SHINY LUGIA.

And here I'm just amassing an army of traded Lv.3 Fletchlings.
