The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!)
I reeeally need to catch up on the comics.

Oh shit, I rate Eugene. Seriously, I love when weak characters are forced to act strong and he's really starting to grow as a character, even utilising his bullets to drop walkers instead of killing them since he's still not 100% there yet.

It was sad about Chris Noah, I really wanted him to became part of the group for a couple of seasons since he didn't really grow as a character and was just "another black guy" in a way. I hope Glenn kills that faggot that caused his death.

I was also starting to like Aidan, it looked like he was starting to listen to Glenn and not have any beef with him which was pretty good and a logical thing to do for a person like him instead of him just being hostile to him all the time.

Also it was a good scene when they were in the van, with the only people who could fight being Glenn and Eugene.

Still, only two more episodes left of this season. I wonder how it's going to end up.

I was also super bummed with Noah. I love watching these events fold-out and I can't wait to see how they end the season.

On a side-note, my dad, who doesn't normally watch the Walking Dead with my mom and I, was there when Noah was getting eaten. His reaction was to sing a little "Everybody e-eats Chriiiis."

Am I the only one who never liked Gabriel? I knew that he was going to be a part of the group the first time I saw him, but the same time, I knew he could not be trusted. This episode shows that I was right once agien. You really can't trust a preacher who rips up a bible.

Eugene got balls. They were super effective on Walkers.

Everybody hates Cris. That is all.

"Big Things To Come" - construction site sign. I wonder what that is about.

The shit Gabriel, for real? It's not like you are a saint or anything, you left your whole congregation to die!

I think it was just a slogan they used for the upcoming mall that never got fully built.

Man, this episode gave off a Season 2 vibe where nothing really happened until the end and they tried to give all the characters something to do even if it was 5 minutes of screen time.

I didn't hate the episode but fuck I didn't like it. The last bit where Michone decked Rick in the face was unexpected, I thought something would happen but not that. (I actually thought Pete would've shot him or something). I was also worried that Rick might lose and eye since I vaguely remembered he lost one in the comics (I think) and I don't want that to happen to him.

I do think that Alexandria will fall due to the woman who leads it dying, either being shot by accident (Like running between two fighting people or something) or being intentionally killed or stabbed which sparks a huge civil war between those people.

If she were to die I imagine that it would be either be someone from Rick's group or by that faggot who let Noah die and eventually he sparks this war blaming the death on them.

Last episode of the season next though, I hope it's good.

^You have to remember also that this is the second part of season 5. The beginning of witch had the attack on Terminus, the cannibals being killed off, the death of Bob and Beth, and the revelation that Eugene is full of shit. The last part does seem a little slower aside from the deaths of Tyreese and Noah. Interesting enough, I enjoying this half more then the first half of this one and even the last half of last season season.

I think Rick or Carol is going to die. Rick because his pride is going to get in the way of proving that this town is in danger and Carol just to save the abuse victim (like a PTSD thing) just to get shot by the husband. With that said, I want them to take in Enid just to kill her off in the first episode of season 6.

I bursted out laughing when Michonne suddenly punched Rick off the screen after he had gone a teeny tiny bit crazy.

Oh shit, Morgan is a 10/10 character still. But he can't be a strongfat black guy, so we're still lacking one of those.

After 6 seasons of Walking Dead I should've known that Daryl and whatshisface would've be saved, but damn. I didn't expect it like that. I did like how the map was the same one, but when did they ditch the map? I can't remember.

The last bit was done very well though, I knew Pete would fuck up somehow and I'm happy that Rick got to kill him, but damn I hope Morgan can understand. I do like that Morgan is still a character in the show, he's a link to his Season 1 self really. He's only ever seen him twice and both time he seemed like a good guy, and now he sees him shooting a man being held down in cold blood with no explanation (to him).

Also, I still hope that faggot who killed Noah dies, or at least becomes a decent character somewhere down the line. If Glenn isn't going to kill him then we're going to have to deal with him either becoming someone who will save others or die at the hands of Rick's Group/Walkers.

As for those "W" people, they're pretty damn crazy, and now they know about the camp. They're probably going to mount some assault or take people out one by one. I hope that won't be the case and that they'll be smart enough to take them out, but we'll just have to wait till October to find out.

I know I'm the only person who is going to say this but I like Morgen more than Daryl. There's not much you can do with the man any more now that his brother is dead and we have explored his past both in the seires and in a game (and most likely, in the new spin-off), and now is just eye-candy. As much as I like eye-candy, I'd rather have more story opportunity then a sexy guy standing around. Hell, Morgan has done more bad ass in two scenes then Daryl has in one season IMO.

I only now got to see the episode as a rerun because I missed it on Monday. Damn. That was one hell of a season finale. I really like how everything got tied up in the but there still was a sort of a cliffhanger.

I feel bad for the guy in the red poncho. He kinda reminded me of a survivor in DayZ.

It baffles me how Glenn survived. Unless there's a plot twist in season 6 and he got bitten. Maybe lose a leg like Hershel did.

I absolutely LOVED the finale. LOVED IT.

Morgan has gone in an unexpected direction.
The Wolves are even more fucked up than I thought.
I loved the multiple story lines.
And I loved how they built up and resolved themselves at the end, without having to cross over into other storylines.
I love that the Alexandrians are seeing a tiny glimpse of what it's like outside the walls.

Soooo... Any thoughts on what the spinoff will be like?

I hope it's completely different, and I hope they cast unknown (or lesser known) actors. I'm reeeeeeally hoping we get to see how it all started.

I hope we get to see normal people going about their normal day, and while the characters are talking the tv/radio in the background is giving a lighthearted report on either a "flu" that seems to be spreading around [insert any city/state here] or something like that. I love in the old horror movies when the stuff in the background (radio/tv) slowly tells you what's happening over the beginning of the film. Bonus points if they can get the rights to use some of the actual old news recordings from the old George A. Romero films!
