Maybe tonight I'll have a chance to watch FTWD. I started watching it but my older daughter started whining about wanting to watch Full House. Heck, she just watched Jessie on Disney for an hour. And then she started talking and taking to get mom about something. I couldn't hear a thing and after hitting the "go 10 seconds back" button several times and they still didn't get the hint, I turned it Full House and walked out. I think wifey got the hint.

There...there must have been a smarter and more efficient way of dealing with that army of walkers.

I mean, I was thinking why not just set the trucks on fire, and possibly pushing several cars down there along with some gasoline or something and blowing them up to create an endless inferno that would burn all if not most of the walkers? If it did attract noise and more walkers it's not like that fire would be leaving any time soon so they'd also be burned there.

Additionally, once they're all burned and to stop anything like that from happening again, they could've dug around it so it'd be much deeper and the walkers couldn't get out if they fell down there.

If they were smart, they could've used the Quarry as a trap for the walkers and keep Alexandria safe. It would've taken a lot of time yes, but it's not like the choice they chose was any better.

Still, new series, new stuff. So excite.

Even my wife, who says she thinks she could get into the show but she'd have to watch every episode from the beginning yet did watch the first season with me and fell asleep and doesn't remember it, said "went don't they just drop some bombs or something in there". So, yeah.
Also, did you see that extra or set worker with the big blonde hair walking being Rick when they were in front of the wall and the camera was on just his face?

Oh sweet, Talking Dead is now shown here. A lot of interesting stuff there, I wish we could've gotten this sooner.

They can't (shouldn't) use gasoline to blow them up because that is a resource that will eventually run out, and they know it. There were pathways leading up (so if one of the trucks fell- which it did- the walkers could easier just wander out- which they did) which is why they couldn't use it as the trap method. They had very limited time and wouldn't have had enough time to dig around it, and Rick knew that. This was unfortunately the best route to take in taking care of the walkers. It was actually a great idea, just lead them far away and they'll keep wandering. And it was working fine until the very end. I can't wait to see how this plays out and how the Alexandrians (try to) fight, since they have never had to before. My friend lives by where they film and sent me some spoilers on what the horn is.

Those "Dubya" people are a mix of smart and stupid. Smart by being able to infiltrate Alexandria while most of their strongest are out, killing many of their defenses are were able to steal a few supplies. Stupid by attacking everyone with close range weapons even when they had guns and continuously slicing them up when they're already dead which was a huge waste of time and was the reason many of them died (Although, they must be brainwashed or they're legit crazy) and that last pack at the end could've easily turned around and shot Morgan with that pistol one of them picked up.

Carl, once again, acted stupid. Seriously I'm all for sparing someone if they beg for their life, but this guy literally ran after Mark and nearly had him too. Once he started begging for his life I would've shot him right there and then. It's not like Carl didn't see the whole situation play out, he should've know that this person is dangerous and is going to keep fighting. Incidentally, all this hatred between people needs to stop, it's literally going to kill them.

The whole scene in Alexandria reminded me of The Last of Us multiplayer. I could legit relate to having to fight people with Machete's and seeing how desperate they were to try and slice you up even if you had a gun.

Still, at least we're seeing these "Dubya" people are actually dangerous and are a good threat to Alexandria. If they have more people then the whole point of them not having weapons can be justified as they could have 300 people vs 100 or so of Rick's group.

Good start though. I wonder how it'll play out.

Well guys, now that Glenn has died there is no longer any reason to watch the Walking Dead. My main man best character is no more. Rick will forever have plot armour and we'll never see an end.

Nah, but seriously real sad that Glenn "died". "Died" being in commas as it was very hard to see exactly what was happening. The retard shot himself like a retard and dragged Glenn down with him, and was either being eating on top of him or both of them were being eaten and Glenn was screaming in pain. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some stupid excuse to why he survived (which I wouldn't mind since he's probably my favourite character and I don't want him to die) such as a whole army coming and distracting those walkers thus saving Glenn.

As for Michonne. She must never ever tell people they will make it ever again. Those are dangerous words coming from her mouth.

Not sure what to think about this episode or season so far though. I think the Wolves have strength in numbers and use the walkers as their main way of attacking, as opposed to Rick's "we've got guns and half of us can use them approach". I mean it seems weird to think a group like that could be a big enough threat to Rick's group and Alexandria but they've out done themselves, that's for sure.

I'm still waiting for the season where Rick is the reason a group falls apart. Basically Alexandria but with no threats at all, but Rick keeps perceiving threats from outside and from inside, paranoia grows and eventually he just has a breakdown and completely destroys the whole place from the inside when it was the perfect utopia for them. That would really be a good moment of a point of no return for Rick, but I doubt that'd happen.

This is the only episode that I know of from any series that I was not the only one of my friends and family to look over and study. We are just had to make sure that Glenn was not dead. We've even collected evidence that says so. The fact that next episode looks like a Morgan centered episode, it's going to kill us not to see what happened.

Speaking of Glenn, why do people care if someone dies the way that they die in the comics? I mean it's "iconic" or what ever, and we have had scenes that came right out of the comics (like when Rick ripped a guy's thort out with his teeth or when we first meet Abraham's group) but we don't need everything to happen the way it did in the comics. More then a few events have happened differently then how they happened in the comics, and even though This season is said to be more like the comics, we still don't have the same characters that were in the books (either them dying, staying alive, or just never existing before). So why can't we have someone else get the wrong end of a barbwire bat? Say.... Rosita? I'm not saying I want her or anyone to die (aside from Father "Save-My-Hide" Gabriel), but if we take the scene in question and play it like it's going to happen and then have it happen to someone else. TV fans are surprised by the death of a fan favorite and the comic fans are blind sided by what they thought they knew. But that's only how I would do it.

I'm liking the season so far, but I think that they need a little more down time (the last three episodes have been mostly anxiety ridden action and we need a breather episode), which may or may not come up in the next episode. I'd also like for them to stop having red shirts in the show. I can tell who is important to the plot and who isn't, and when you try to make me care for a red shirt THAT I KNOW IS GOING TO DIE, I start to get annoyed by what I'm watching. It also does not help when they say things like "I have to get back to my wife", and then try to make me care about them. No I don't care if you are bit becuse you were tear bait.

Late to this, but that was one good episode. It was nice to see how Morgan went from crazy to calm and collected, and the steps he took from there.

One thing that bothered me though was that Eastman has been killing tons of walkers, digging graves, doing his training with his stick at least daily, and eating vegetables for God knows how long and he was still quite chubby. I mean, unless it's some thing with being middle age I'd imagine him being slimmer or at least on his way to bear mode. Unless this is a similar deal with Hank from Breaking Bad who looked quite unhealthy but was in fact very strong.

You know, we're five seasons in and I'm starting to get kind of tired of these lame ways people get bitten. You'd think at this point people who have survived this far would think about their actions a bit more.

If you're experienced get overwhelmed by hundreds of walkers.
