Hey man, that show does its job well. Its essentially the same thing as those old G.I. Joe episodes and such. Its just there to sell product, and frankly its longevity only reflects how successful it has been.

But even many shows that yes, were made to sell toys, can tell good stories, like Digimon for example. Telling a good story is what the Pokemon anime fails at doing. Plus if was just made for little kids, then Ash losing is pretty offensive to me if you think about. Because Ash losing is the equivalent of saying f**k you to the children's hopes and dreams.

You're thinking a little too hard about this man. Everything looks worse when we grow up. Hell, DBZ and the original Yu-Gi-Oh! are my favorite childhood anime but I can't watch an episode now a days. If they're saying anything, its that its okay to fail. Now, stop concerning yourself over a kid's show that probably isn't going to go away any time soon.

Yeah, until Zelda was visibly on screen, I didn't think that looked like a Legend of Zelda movie at all. We need somebody to really capture the setting to make this work and it would be a hard transition from game to movie as well as trying to carry the whole film with a mute protagonist. It can be done, but it'll take a lot of hard thinking.

Cute animals are a hell of a lot more marketable than a guy wearing green who swings a sword.

Yeah. We got endless amounts of Pokemon animated movies(which are based off of Nintendo's big series) and off all things they approved of Kirby having an anime. Why can't they even allow one of their popular games get animated? Nintendo should at least open up an animation studio to solve their problems with other people adapting their properties.

And for the record. They even allowed a MARIO anime. It never got an english dub, but it is speculated that there was consideration for a Mario anime series before we got the DIC cartoons of Mario.

Hey guys I think it could work, just look at this amazing concept art I sketched. Keep in mind, I only spent a few days on it so it's not top quality, but the character design really shows how the movie could reach out to both children and adults.
