What games would you like to see remade?
#1
With some video games getting remade/remastered for modern day audiences(Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, Ducktales Remastered) I thought we could have a discussion about what video games that you would like to see remade. They can be from the most obscure things to games that have little recognition but are not known to the public outside of video gaming. Name the game, what new things should be added to the said game, and why you think it should be remade.

I know I've been hoping for Wayforward to tackle on Darkwing Duck, but if there's one game I'd like to see remade. Its The Adventures Of Bayou billy. For granted. The game itself has been known for being very difficult but at the same time being fun in its own way. If they were going to remake this game. I think there should be a difficultly setting to make things easier for new gamers. But at the same time keeping the bit of difficulty that the original game was known for at a minimum for how its set(easy, medium, hard, and if gamers want a taste of the NES difficultly to the max, then they outta try Extreme). I wouldn't mind a few new levels. Like say a level based off of what happens before Annie gets captured, and a level trying to escape from being captured by the goons who take you away in the beginning.

Dino Crisis. I seriously want this to happen.

I would actually be okay with something done in the Resident Evil Remake style or in the style of the new Tomb Raider.

My normal response of "Okage:Shadow King so everyone can play a great, funny game" aside, perhaps Glover. I don't know why, but I think they could do so much with him in Wii games. Maybe have him in the new Smash bros if they do?

How about Dark Cloud? Not the best game but it could do with a reworking and a reboot.

The Lost Vikings

We have too few good, funny platformers that require a lot of thinking, no matter what generation of games you are talking about.

A Lost Vikings remake could be just that.

Well I finally got the Wind Waker remake I've been wanting. The only thing that would get me just as excited is a Super Mario Sunshine remake.

Darkwing Duck would be amazing. It's still fun to this very day so would do very good with some modern upgrades. Their was also a very fun Donald Duck game I played for the Sega Game Gear where you had to return a cursed amulet that Scrooge had picked up. Oh, and Animaniacs for the Super Nintendo.

I'm with Cody on Conker as well. The Xbox version was total garbage.

I'm not sure if I should say I want an enhanced remake of Pokemon Snap or a sequel... I'm gonna say enhanced remake that includes all 151 original Pokemon with a lot more levels.

...Final Fantasy VII

But not really, because I know it's not going to happen anytime soon.

I would like to see a remake of Link's Awakening (DX doesn't count). I always found it to be one of the more unique Zelda games, and the elements from Mario Bros made it somewhat fun and quirky.

By Odins nipples, I haven't played one of those games in so long. It needs to happen.

A Resident Evil 2/3 remake would be pretty sweet too.
