Does anyone watch Redneck Island? I haven't yet, but my dad tells me that a guy that works for him has applied to be on the show and has had two calls about still being in consideration to be on it. Coincidentally, he's the same guy running the softball team I play tournaments for, occasionally.

I went in expecting this great show with great characters and cliffhangers that made you want to watch the next episode right away. I ended Day 1 with the thoughts of most of the characters are there for cannon fodder, Jack is not the bad ass Main charicter that everyone says he is, the plot goes in circles to the point that I thought they should have ended the season about 5 times before the real end, and the episodes don't end in any sort of suspense IMO. I think that Under the Dome is a better show.

That being said, I like the interaction with each of the characters, Jack is a decent character (for the most part), and I still want to watch more to see when or if it gets better. I am on the 4th episode of Day 2 and I just ordered the game to see how well that came out.

I maybe a bit late here, but hang in there. Difficult to go in to spoilers, but he does get more bad-ass as the seasons move on. Sure, they play around with his character in one or two seasons, but you'll always see him do cold and calculated things. By the time you reach season 8, you'll think this guy is a bad-ass. But then you see season 9 and you think: Jack Bauer can not be contained within the word bad-ass, FFS, wow.

I saw the first two episodes of that Bob's Burgers show. Can someone who's seen tell me if its indicative of the rest of the series?

Was just watching America's Funniest Home Videos a couple hours ago. Is it bad that I don't find any of it funny?

I think 80% is consisted of pets, babies and people getting themselves seriously hurt. It becomes repetitive after awhile.

That show has actually been funny? At least it became bearable after Bob Saget left.

It kind of lost its soul when youtube became big. I mean, there really wasn't a point for a "funniest home videos" tv show if all their content was readily available without the filler and commercials.

Not that youtube hasn't tried.

Then came the shows that mostly show just the best clips found on the internet. I find those entertaining and they save me the hours I'd otherwise waste looking for some actually good videos.

I believe Hex brought up a good point about those shows a while back. Shows that take clips off of the internet show really funny videos, but than mess them up by having some dumb ass make the same joke and just ruin them. The Star Wars kid was funny, but having someone go "Wow, what a nerd. Bet he has no idea the camera is on" just made me not like it any more.

Whats worse is that they get really funny people (and Daniel Tosh) to host these shows and make them less funny. How does that happen?

...But but... that was my favorite show ever...

There's a body painting show on the Game Show network right now that I'm really enjoying. I just wish that one of the guys that's really skilled wasn't such an arrogant dick about it. If he wins he totally deserves it, but I really can't stand people with his personality.

So far the judges have made really good decisions about who should go home.

Last Friday, I argue to an acquaintance as to why King of the Hill is one of the best animation show to date.

Never thought i would have to do that in my life.

Can we all just step the fuck back and admire how great Legend of Korra was this season.
Book One was good, but it felt rushed and was generally underwhelming.
Book Two was mostly garbage with a small pile of greatness buried inside of it, nearly every episode made me want to stop watching, but I just never could.
Book Three though, it was so good that I'm actually gonna use a spoiler tag for it's original purpose. So, spoilers ahead for all of The Legend of Korra, go watch book 3 seriously it's really good.

It was a fantastic season, on par with Book 3 of the original and better than Book 1 of the original. 32/5

I started watching American Ninja Warrior a few weeks ago. Or "Sasuke" if you're not from America. Only thing is that everyone has to show their six pack.
