Don't you find it funny how the people who often say things like "I don't care" are the ones who care the most?

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!" - Says the person who wrote a paragraph explaining why you suck.
Maybe it's just me but lately I've been seeing situations like this a little too often:

Anon 1: "This looks like a Picasso paiting"

Anon 2: "That's because it is"

OR

Anon 1: "First time I've ever heard of this movie. It looks like it was made in 70's"

Anon 2: "That's because it was made in the 70's"

OR

Anon 1: "What's the name of the anime? It gives me Lupin the Third vibes"

Anon 2: "It is Lupin the Third"

OR

Anon 1: "this whole thing reads like a Discord convo"

Anon 2: "That's because it was straight-up lifted from a Discord chat. It says so in the video description"

See the pattern?
Remenber when people weren't allowed to watch videos on Nico Nico Douga unless you had an account? People had to resort to uploading the videos on YouTube or using Nicovideo Redirector. I don't know which year that policy changed but I think it was in the late 2010's.

EDIT: I have no idea why I didn't talk about this sooner, back when Nico Nico Douga first announced these changes. Maybe I forgot.
Man, does the Internet slang term "based" mean anything anymore? People will use it regardless of context. LOL
Happy Birthday to Linux, 30 years strong

EDIT: on a somber note, R.I.P French Tickner. He was a Canadian voice, film and television actor.
To believe it's been 20 years since the September 11 terrorist attacks...

May all the people who died during that day rest in peace. Gone but never forgotten.
I find it funny how SOME Americans think of Europeans when they think of things the rest of the world do but that USA doesn't. Example: "metric system? Oh that's clearly an European-only thing". This is just one example out of many, mind you.

Europe truly lives rent free in your heads, huh? Everytime those guys think foreigners or non-Americans, they instantly assume "Europeans!".

By the way, since we are now speaking of metric, you should know that NASA uses metric. So don't say "imperial system got us to the moon" because that's a lie.

EDIT: to clarify, I'm not saying that the USA as a whole should start using metric. They are not going to do that any time soon (if ever). And yes, I know it was the British who invented the imperial system (they started using metric in the 60s, tho), not the Americans.

EDIT 2: and yes, I know that USA isn't the only country in the world who still uses imperial. Lyberia (a former American colony in Africa) and Myanmar/Burma (an Asian country) also use it. Altought in 2013 the Myanmar goverment said that it was preparing to adopt the metric system, and nowadays both imperial and metric are used. Canada also uses both systems.
Some people don't understand what inmortality actually means. Sometimes being confused with eternal life.

Inmortality means that you cannot die, at all. Eternal life means that you cannot die of natural causes, however you can still be killed.
Many people don't know what being introverted actually means. Oftentimes the term introvert is confused for "shy" or "socially awkward" or even "social anxiety".

Introvert means and I quote "An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as introversion, which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and ideas, rather than what's happening externally. They enjoy spending time with just one or two people, rather than large groups or crowds".

Introverts can have social interactions with people just as well as extroverts. The main difference is that introverts can grow tired of that. For introverts, socializing with people for long periods of times can be mentally taxing, it can be tiring. For extroverts is the opposite, they get energy from socializing with others. They are the ones who enjoy hanging around with large groups or crowds.

And then there's the ambiverts, who are a middle ground between introverts and extroverts.
To believe it's been five years since David Bowie's death. And Prince's death. And Muhammad Ali's...

A lot of people died in 2016. R.I.P

EDIT: Also, it's been 10 years since Steve Jobs' death.

EDIT 2: It's been 10 years since Dennis Ritchie's death. He was the creator of the C programming language.
Remenber the times when cameos and references were just that, cameos and references? Little details that creators put in their work for the sake of fun, not being meant to be taken seriously? Nowadays you can't make references to other shows or properties because people will think they take place in the same universe. If we seriously apply that flawed logic then pretty much every fictional franchise shares the same universe.

Calm the fuck down with the cinematic universe nonsense, people.
Happy Halloween!
Don't you find it funny (and ironic) how things like this happen?

Anon 1: *explains something*

Anon 2: "It's not as complicated as you make it out to be" *proceeds to make an explanations that's MORE complicated than the last one*
Cultural differences are quite the interesting subject. For example in the U.S.A the word 'cunt' is one of the worst things you could ever say to someone. One of the most offensive swear words you could ever say. Just as if not more offensive than 'fuck'.

Meanwhile, in Australia....
