I'm scared to share a negative opinion (you know, because Internet), but I trust the people here are way more mature than most internet forums, so here goes.

Game Grumps has gotten stale for me. Ever since their Mario Golf series, I just kind of got... bored with their videos. Nothing is really "clicking" like it used to. The jokes are hitting their mark, and it just feels bland and boring watching an episode of theirs. I've talked with all my Game Grumps fan friends, and they've all had a similar experience of dropping off in viewing.

I can still go back and watch their great episodes and series like Mario Sunshine, Drakkhen, GUTS, etc., but I can't stand their new stuff. It feels like they're trying become the generic, popular LPer, almost like they're trying to emulate Pewdiepie. This is especially evident in their LPs of Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2 where they over-exaggerate all their reactions, and with the new end card where it's just like "LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE", Along with them playing games like Goat Simulator (obvious Let's Player bait) twice. What annoys me the most about this was that this is exactly the type of stuff they were making fun of  and said they didn't want to do when they first started Game Grumps, especially the "LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE" thing. One reason Arin said he didn't want a facecam in videos was because he felt he would need to overreact to the camera. While you can argue it's to maintain the interest of the audience, Projared's video of the original Five Nights at Freddy's, in which he openly admits to being bored by the game, is still entertaining, due to him making jokes at the games attempts at "horror."

On another thing, I preferred the lack of editing in their earlier videos. Sometimes Barry can be funny, but I felt a lot of the appeal of early Grumps wasn't that I watching a webshow, but rather getting the feeling that I was sitting on the couch next to them. I feel like minimal editing really helped foster that. Now if feels like a webshow, which isn't bad, put it feels like some of the spirit is lost.

Also Egoraptor has just gotten annoying. His presence has simply turned me off from watching many Grumps videos ( last one I watched was Cliff Horse, which featured Ross, Dan, and Barry). He  has a serious problem with not paying attention to the game, then blaming the game for not telling him what to do. Ironic when they make a joke about tutorial's being patronizing during the tutorial of Kirby's Air Ride, only to ask how to play when it ends. Annoying in Naughty Bear, when they spend 11 minutes trying to figure out how to burn a present. He also seems to have a burning hatred for 3D games, which gets aggravating to listen to when they play a 3D game (like Wind Waker).

Sorry if that came off as whiny or anything like that, I was just trying to portray my feelings towards Game Grumps at the moment. I was a huge fan (been following them since Day 1), I am disappointed  to say I've lost interest in them.

I'm sure Arin is a nice guy, but his internet persona is getting annoying. I can't judge him as a person, as I don't know him. I'm only judging what he has shown to me, which is a person who seems to hate any game released after 2000, and Sonic the Hedgehog games (even the generally well received ones).

I'm also sorry if I ruined the party by posting this, but I wanted to share my opinion of current Grumps.

Also, thanks for reading my wall of text.
I'm pretty much over Game Grumps. There are a few funny moments here and there but both Arin and Danny suck at video games, and blame the games for it. I can't sit there watching people who can't figure out the most basic side of pokemon. Part of watching a let's play, is seeing the game how it's supposed to be played, but these guys don't seem to know how to play most of the games they try and it's just annoying.
I'll throw in a bit of positivity.

I love the Game Grumps. Pretty much since day 1. I no longer always watch the videos the day they come out, but I have seen all of them. I love it. I think they are funny. There are bouts and series that just don't do it for me, but they are still funny. They crack jokes, make fun of the game, whatever.
Am I the only one who's sick of Arin making the gay jokes? Most of the time they aren't even funny.

They both are good at video games. Hell every single one of them is good. They just don't know how to manage playing a game and talking at the same time. They focus too much on being funny and having something to say to actuly play the game. It also does not help that they don't finsh games becuse they lose intrest in them.

Positive side: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Lion King and that one wild west game (can't remimber the name) are my favorites due to how they comitate and keep the games going.

I can't think of any I like that Jon was in due to it being a wile since I've seen those videos but for now I'm going to say Castlevania III.
.

This user has made some pretty funny game grumps animations. This one takes the cake with Bill Nye.

The Bill Nye moment is probably one of the best moments in Game Grumps history, never gets old.
OHGODOHGODOHGODOHGOD! ARIN AND JON ARE AT MAGFEST TOGETHER!

Here's the reddit post with the picture and where DANNY, SUZY, AND ROSS COMMENTED ON IT!
Wow. I'm literally speechless about this.
I know it's just a picture, but just the thought of all the grumps together makes me so happy.
I never thought I'd live to see the original Grumps back together for a picture. Kinda makes me wish for a guest episode with Jontron.

I'm supposed to buy that? Yeah, not happening. Most let's players start off that way but Game grumps has existed far too long for that be a problem, and if it is, it's because they suck at games.

Well I don't know if it happens with the grumps but my brother play CS: GO and I watch him and he's not amazing but he's pretty good. But when he plays with his best friend and they talking during it he's ablosutley terrible.

But I don't know. That's just what I think. :/

Castlevania III, Gun.Smoke, Punch Out!. Three games that they play that show off that they don't suck. There's even a time durring No Time to Explan where one of them (Ross was playing I think) was sucking becuse they were talking but when he relised it he stoped talking and finshed the level (which I think explanes most of that playthough).

I've unsubscribed/stopped watching not because they suck at the games, but because they are not interesting/entertaining any more. I'm getting more of what I'm looking for in the GGs out of Markiplier than the GGs anymore. I'm not sure when they stoped being entertaing, but it has been almost a year since I saw a whole playlist.

That a bs argument. Those three games are ones they've had years to get good at, and Ross doesn't play days worth of games as a time for the sake of recording so he's still at that point where he could get distracted while trying to play a game. Whats more, I'm only talking about Dan and Ego, who have both been playing far too long for that to be believable. Also, can I just ask, why do you care to defend them when one, they don't care what I think anymore than you do, and two, you don't watch them anymore so you shouldn't care what I say. I just want to know why you bother when there's no gain for you.
