Look out internet, Jontron is back.
Good thing I was wearing my brown sweatpants when I read that post.
Try and keep JonTron stuff in the JonTron thread unless it's GameGrumps related.

To get back into the swing of things of the game grumps discussion. Has anyone watched Danny and Ego playing Super Mario Sunshine? So far I'm on part five.

Yep and I'm loving it, because it's tied as my favorite game. Although I will say being someone that's fairly skilled at this game, it's sometimes annoying to see them not know how to do simple things, but in the end it's hilarious to hear their commentary on it.

I feel the same way when Ross and Arin played rogue legacy. They keep locking down the castle, and they aren't even buying good stuff with the little cash they do get!

But as for Super Mario Sunshine, I'm up to date on it, and I gotta say that It's a pretty good series, but since I've never played it, It makes it that much better cause I also don't know what to do in the game.

Look. I've never played Mario sunshine, but apart from the game being stupidly hard, I really imagine that they don't know how to play that game, because it's just incredible how they just go over simple game design things. They skip over NPCs because "it's in the show" yet that way they waste 6 minutes of going around wondering what to do when they could've already figured it all out just by simply talking to a NPC.

People could come with the counter-argument of "You watch them for the gameplay? Well, I watch for the comentary". To that I reply: Watching 6 minutes of both of them going like "What the fuck do I do?" "Where to go?" "*not so funny joke* hahahahaha". That's not entertaining to watch... not at all.

I'm gonna derail for a sec, and say that the guy who held/still holding the world speedrun record for Rogue Legacy is doing a LP where he rotates out co-commentators while showing off everything and has the thread vote on who ends up with as his next heir: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV...M9sGEguxO_

Also if you wanna to see a group do the "Friends just playing games and making jokes" gimmick right check out MenDrinkinCoffee. Their commentary/jokes is centered around the game they're playing.
They finally did it.

I still say that the Runaway Guys are still funny. They sound like they are getting together and playing games, while the GG sound like they are trying to be entertaining while playing games, which they can only do one or the other. Although they do have some entertaining videos, I feel there are better people.

To put this back on topic, I think the Steam Rolled idea is cool, but the Table Flip show looks acted out. I'm not sure if they played the games are played naturally, but they still seem like they planed who the winner will be.
They've released an entirely animated episode because they'd lost the gameplay footage.

They need to lose the footage more oftan. This is really funny to have someone make up pictures to go with the audio (you know a longer Grumps Animated).
Egoraptor, Danny and Ross with Orph will be playable characters in Hex Heroes which they'll also provide voices for.

The Hex Heroes Kickstarter was a success and now the Game Grumps will be playable characters and Ross, Arin and Danny will get a chance to voice them.

Here are some recent great Game Grumps fan animated videos.

I'm glad that Hex Heroes made it, it seemed for a while that it wouldn't. And those are some damn good animations, I totally love the Milton one. My favorite "animation" has got to be this one.
