I still need to play Miles Edgeworth Investigations and Apollo Justice before I get into AA5. I do have Apollo Justice but since I want to play the games in chronological order I need to get Investigations first. I know Apollo Justice was released first but this is just how I roll. Still bummed that I can't have AA5 next in my row of AA games on my shelf but I guess having it released here in the first place is better than nothing.
Is anyone getting the HD versions of the first three games (assuming they're released internationally)? I won't because I have the original versions already but thought it was worth asking.
Something weird happened. I think I mentioned this in the gaming related thread a few days ago.
Can you see it?
The little man in a suit in the corner?
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!
Fulbright was the best character in DD.
Followed by Scuttlebutt.
SERIOUSLY MOD EDIT - Fixed the image link.
I find the existence of Monstrous Turnabout funny considering how much time the translators used in converting anything Japanese in the games into American stuff. I bet they looked at this chapter and just gave up.
Enjoy.
All the cases that involve Japanese culture are some of the worst cases.

I dunno, while Monstrous Turnabout is pretty meh some of my favorite cases have involved the Steel Samurai or one of his many spinoffs. Ninjas, samurai and super sentai. Yup, pretty Japanese all right.
Well, the only Japanese themed cases were 1-3, 2-2, 2-4 to an extent. 3-2, 3-5, and 5-2, and they usually are put near the bottom of case tier lists, with the exception of 2-4 and 3-5.
I liked 2-2 though, but the rest are pretty boring.
I have no idea what that video was going on about - any help ?

It was the trailer for the upcoming Ace Attorney game. I can't read Japanese but it was mostly character introductions.
The trailer is basically saying that the game is set between 1880-1910 (I think), where a new age of law is coming with Phoenix's Ancestor at the head of it.
Seems pretty good, but it'll be even better translated haha.
I just realized this game is most likely going to be hugely influenced by Japanese culture and such. Gotta wonder how the translation team works around that. Because apparently Japan is not allowed in Western countries.

Or anything that could hurt the kiddies' sensitivities.
I'm looking at you, 'grape juice' from Miles Edgeworth I...
"Sir, there are problems with this game. It could negatively impact our youth."
"What is it, the rampant murders that are the pivotal point of every case? That's fine."
"No Sir... I mean... You see... In the game there is mention of...
wine."
"THOSE DECADENT JAPANESE. HOW CAN THEY BE SO RECKLESS."
