TV Talk!
I'm finally going to watch a few episodes of Arrested Development, I want to see if it's praise is deserved or not in my mechanical eyes.

Watched the first few episodes, meh.
It has its share of good jokes, but most of it just ends up being really predictable. It's funny, just not the almighty Xenu jesus show I've heard it is.

Getting hyped up for the new season of Face Off. I'm really disappointed that they are bringing back vets for this season. Yea, it's nice seeing people from past seasons get another shot at being the best but they had a chance to get the title and at lest two of them made it to the last 5. I can bet you that most of the vets will make it to the final 5 and most of the newcomers will leave within the first few episodes.

They are doing the same thing with Ink Masters, but I really don't like the people on there any why so I don't care that much.

Well apparently Time Warner dropped CBS because they wanted a bunch of money, but Showtime is affiliated with CBS and is also being dropped, which means no Dexter for my family. Le sad face.

He's an older one. He is currently 55 years old.

Fun Facts: He was previously in an episode of Doctor Who. He played Caecilius in the episode "The Fires of Pompeii."

He also starred in Torchwood as well.

Anywho, without further ado, I present you the Twelfth Doctor!

The new Doc cleans up good. Nice to have an older Doc for once in the new series. I miss the grandfather Doctor and the new series seems to go for the more good looking people over the more experienced ones. Don't get me wrong, the old series had good looking doctors (look at Peter Davison/5th Doc) but I would like to see more people like Sylvester McCoy/7 Doc or Jon Pertwee/3rd Doc.

Eccleston was 41 when he was the doctor. Not quite old, but was older than Tennant and Smith, with the latter only being 27 when he started.

Edit: I just learned that Peter is actually the same age as the first doctor when he started.

As long as they find a good way to explain why he looks EXACTLY like the Prime fucking Minister, I'm ok with it. I think he's a great actor who will definitely bring something new to the role. I've been wanting an older, grumpier/angrier Doctor for a while now and, based on some of his other work, I'm assuming this is what we'll be getting from him.

Since we are talking about the Doc right now, I wanted to post this pic my friend found.

Speaking of Doctors, I just bought the Series 1 DVD set for 10€. I can finally start getting into the series aside from watching random episodes of the old seasons on TV.
