I'm loving it so far, bought Encore the other day in hopes of getting the new characters free when they are released. The Skullgirl is a really fun fight at the end too, though it took me forever to figure out a good tactic to beat her. Not even any spammy scrub "tactic" like I used on Seth in the original SFIV or Hazama in Continuum Shift. Phew, won her with 1hp left :D Current main: Filia. I learned her in the demo and now I can't really use anyone else. Especially not Peacock. May try out Ms. Fortune but the head confuses me. I do hope the April Fools character Fukua stays since she's another version of Filia :P And if I learn Ms. Fortune I'd have Robo-Fortune to look forward to.
I backed the game on Indiegogo and tried to find myself in the backer section of the credits for hours, skipped a lot and then they ended and I realized I had propably skipped myself. Crud. Not watching those again :D
Skullgirls Encore was just announced free for PS Plus members so I'll get the chance to play it. I played the original Skullgirls and found it very entertaining. Any characters you suggest I should try when I do play Encore.
Filia seems to be pretty well balanced and user friendly. I suggest trying her out first.

You know what sucks? Finland is one of the 12 countries who still are missing Squigly and the color pack. We did get Big Band on time but still no sight of Squigly, the one I'm more interested in of the two.
I can't download Big Band anyway, my internet keeps dying at around 20% of the 1.01 patch download and I can't add any other DLC character than Squigly (who I can't download either since she doesn't exist here) with the vanilla version.
We always get screwed over with game releases...

Oh man I downloaded Big Band last week. SHIT IS HYPE!
Played him for an hour and came up with this combo.
Such an awesome character and fun as heck to play. I won't go back to Skullgirls but it'll always be there to play.
Also, Squigly and Big Band are only 101Kb in size. Should be fairly quick to download.

I did a few days ago. She has that Noob Saibot thing going on with the clone strikes.

Ed Boon keeps teasing a new Mortal Kombat. If it turns out a new MK game is in development I wish for two things: Chess Kombat and Kreate a Fighter. Mortal Kombat Trilogy was the first ever game I've played and is one of my most favorite series of all times so I really really wish Ed isn't trolling.

The return of minigames would be cool. You know, apart from the whole Battle Tower thing, which is also cool. I loved Puzzle Kombat. Propably played it more than the actual game.

New characters OMG!
I swear that bee lady is their answer to Sadira from KI :D The big dude with the midget on his back reminds me of Master Blaster from that one Mad Max movie.
It's cool to see them doing new characters for this series, it's been ages since that happened.
