You may as well just send the disc into outer space at that point.

Not sure I liked Persona 4. To be honest I missed the way Persona 3 played. Don't get me wrong it was certainly more of the same beautiful art, excellent story telling and massively involved play but P3 just seemed to have an edge for me that is missing with P4.

It was probably because it had a more darker theme than Persona 4.

I actually didn't care for Persona 3 until the PSP version came out and you could play as the girl. You had a let better Social Links instead of a bunch of jerks I didn't care about. Even the main cast was a lot nicer to you and it was fun having "girl time" with Yukari.

'Platinumed' Persona 4: Golden. Oh man. Never played a JRPG right after completing it. So good.

I'm currently in the process to Platinum it. How did you get the Rise trophy BumblebeeCody, it's currently the hardest trophy for me at the moment.

Oh my god, I forgot about that Rise trophy. Whoever thought of that one is just evil.

Get Rises Social Link up to 10(max) makes it easier for extra lines of dialogue(but I did it with only 8 social link ranking on my first playthrough).
My tips:
1) Don't play on easy. You'll be too high level by the end of the game, just makes it harder to get.
2) Comprise 2 separate teams: (my main team being Kanji(Damage), Yukiko(media) and Yosuke (weak) and another team being Chie (weak), Teddie (worst medic) and Naoto (overpowered as hell) which will even out the teams. You don't want to be blazing through the dungeons). Bring each team into a dungeon (team one to clear it and then have the team 2 defeat the optional shadow boss). This lets you level up your team members so you'll have a lot of the dialogue lines saying "You're low on health"/"Enemy is strong" etc.

3) Wear different clothes and say "Talk to others".
4) Spam the hell out of L to scan enemies.
5) Try to stay on low health
6) Play through the game to try and obtain the true ending. This'll give you the Marie's Dungeon and the True Super Boss Final dungeon. Also try to max out Margarets social link for her boss appearance (though no necessary) .
7) While in Maries dungeon, get to the last floor, use a Goho-m and then repeat the dungeon again with team 2. Maries dungeon is great for status infliction, strong-ish enemies or awkward situations prompting Rise to talk.
(Chie your poisoned *Trophy Unlocked*)

First playthrough (Normal):
Loaded old save (before very final boss). Rise with around 8 social link with all dungeons complete including Maries and then took all of the steps above. Took around an hour because I played the game for so many hours prior to that. Apparently there's around 400 lines of dialogue so you should be OK. I'm quite fortunate in that the trophy came relatively easily.

This is a freaking BRONZE TROPHY!! Seriously whoever came up with this trophy enjoyed making people suffer. Thanks BumblebeeCody for the help. Currently on Easy so I can reach to Level 90 faster so I could make Izanagi-No-Okami. So I gotta do a 4th playthrough for the Rise trophy.

You'll still be able to do it on easy. You can also change the games settings from the 'system option' in the pause 'menu'. Change the damage received to high and damage dealt to slightly less(Just discovered this). Just load an old save, change the settings and then play through all the dungeons again. Unfortunatley Maries dungeon locks on 02/13 as it's the only day to play that dungeon (unless you have backup saves).

Digital Devil Saga is available on PSN.

It's a great way to get into the series since you only have to manage a simple party and not worry about any demon fusing. The story is really interesting, but also leaves you extremely confused since everything doesn't get funny explained until the sequel.

OMG, the recent character announcement for the P4 Arena sequel is the best thing ever. I guess they're pulling that crap where he's already on the disc, but you have to either pre-order or pay to get him. Grrr... He's one of the few characters I felt ashamed for liking since he's such a terrible person. Up until the whole
part I actually kind of identified with him.

Decided to finally play Persona 3: FES, The Journey. I played the PSP version but never really got around to the PS2 one after beating The Answer. Named my character Freddie Mercury and have played for about two hours. In other words, haven't done much yet.
