It was like that last generation too, and the one before it. I don't see how this is any different. My cousin had Halo on X-Box and that was a big deal to PS2 owning me. PS3 had Last of Us, God of War, Little Big Planet, etc. and that mattered to X-BOX 360 owning me. Why would things be any different now?

True but it's mainly because games like Tomb Raider and Street Fighter are, and always have been, multiplatform titles. The Last of Us, God of War, LBP are all made by Second Party Studios/games that Sony has personally funded from their studios they've made a deal with. It's like Final Fantasy going only to Wii U. Or Fifa only going to Xbox. There's no need to restrict well established open platform titles to a certain console that isn't funded or developed by a studio under the big 3. In the case of Halo, it was published and funded by Microsoft Studios but was developed by Bungie. At one point it was coming out to the DS(some trivia there).

SF IV is available on: Arcade, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, 3DS, PC and even iPhone.
Condensing it to two platforms is like:
Capcom: Yeah, we're willing to kill our last only financially stable franchise within our business that also only has an appeal to a very very hardcore audience that'll still be playing it 20 years from now. I honestly think Capcom just killed Street Fighter. Yeah I know, "hyperbole", but this is a failing business with a very tight but semi-niche/uncommon market. It's now the reason I'll play a PS4 because otherwise it should be on Xbox One. That being said I have a feeling it's going to coming out on Xbox eventually.

That Chloe thing with Tekken 7 still pisses me off....

Seriously, this is Tekken. Its one of the big franchises. Yet, they're bending over making stupid decisions like region exclusive characters over a NeoGaf thread. That is a big freaking game breaker over such a minor uproar. There is now an unfair advantage in Tekken games from a variety standpoint alone and if they're developing another character just for NA, then its even worse as a result.

It seems the new main villain is the successor to Gargos.

Yeah I know. Massive circle fuck. Also, sorry for randomness, I was trying to teach a friend to play Little Mac. Apparently he finds Little Mac technical so yeah (and hence the character swapping). What I found funny is that I was playing and MTP going "Ah yeah this is cool". THen when we finished I checked MTPs profile and realised it was MilsTailsPrower (A big Sonic speedrunner). 
We also both started this off by speedrunning Strider and finding glitches and such. It's just funny how people know people know people know people etc. Yeah he's a cool dude. We should definitely get some 1v1s going. You're a really good player :)

Yeah he told me you were glitching Strider with us... But I don't remember what you did on it. What did I do after Strider... Castlevania LOS 2, Metal Gear, Sly 4, Watch Dogs, Fez (and the awesome glitch that can change everything but that nobody tries and I am way too angry against this game to play it) , Bayonetta and my Infinite Jump glitch... Not very active hm. MTP isn't active at all these days too.

Shaheen looks cool. Its a shame that I won't be able to enjoy this one.

It would be both hilarious and sad if all Tekken games released in the US from now on would not have any new characters in them whatsoever. Otherwise some widdle internet hero could get his sensitivities hurt.
