Try having an adult discussion about religion. That should go as well or worse than talking about politics. I have one really good conversation about religion and that was with my Buddhist aunt when we compared how each religion is similar and different.
Religion is a very interesting, yet touchy, subject. But yes, I agree. Religion is also on that list.

And now i'm even more angry! Yesterday when I woke up, there was a bird stuck in the breezway of my third floor apartment. (The sides are netting- like a screen door, so sun and air can get in- not open). When he was still there when I got home from work I called the office.
Me- There is a bird stuck in the breezeway of the third floor of building 1.
Office- That happens all the time. We don't have anyone that can get it out. It'll find it's way out.
Me- Ok. Are you sure? He's been there since 7:30 this morning. (It was almost 4:00 pm when I called)
Office- It's just waiting on things to quiet down. It won't leave if there's a lot of people. When it's quiet it will hop down the stairs.
Me- Oh ok. So it's waiting on tonight?
Office- Yes.
This morning I wake up and the bird is still there. I decide that if it's still there when I get home then i'll call someone myself. I didn't get it out myself because I have NO clue how to handle birds. And I didn't call anyone yesterday because I can barely pay my own bills, and can't really afford it.
When I got home today, the bird was still there. Dead. He never found his way out. I'm so mad. I don't know if i'm more mad at the apartment people or myself.

Ergh - there are people whose asininity transcends human comprehension. Unfortunately the apartment people in question are part of that group of people.
I think it's best you didn't try anything you weren't sure about - you don't want to get wounded by the panicking talons of a bird. That's a recipe for infection.
I imagine the bird went to bird heaven and is now pecking on the finest grain :)

Hey, beware that cucco.
I'm sorry, when else could I say that?
If you can't get it out, then don't worry.
If its still there, call them again I guess.

I would like to corroborate Lightmatt's claims and announce that we're now following the doctrine of "LightMatt's alight Mat Lite, Mate". It involves free punch on Sundays so we all adhered to it without a second thought :D
And yes, my OoT shenaningan is very much in swing.

This is probably the best sentence I've ever read.
