Trying to ease my dad into games

Anyone got any ideas? He's like me but probably would prefer less twitch reaction kind of games. That's why I chose Spore for one of the games.

Ask him what he likes.

My dad hates video games, but hell one day I came home and he was playing a racing game with a controller and loved it.

If he likes movie type games give him games with long cutscenes and stuff, Uncharted, Last of Us, Metal Gear, GTA etc.

If he likes puzzle games give him games like Portal, Prof Layton, Zelda, Brain Training etc.

No point in letting him play a game you may like but he'll hate and he doesn't want to tell you until he's bored and goes off video games.

Also, if he liked Pacific Rim, and wants mecha type games, he should play Phantom Crash.

and then when he's good and ready show him the spanking attack in God Hand and he'll be set for life.
