PS - Europeans, remember that North America has already gone to Daylight savings time, so 17h Eastern is 21h London time.
I forgot that other places don't use Daylight Savings Time. I feel sheltered sometimes when I talk with people from Europe.
Europe does have DST, they're just switching next weekend.
Places closer to the equator are less likely to change times (as it doesn't vary that much from season to season), same for countries where a high percentage of the population wakes and goes to bed with the sun (so not much use of clocks and therefore why bother changing the time?).
I remember when I lived in Scotland, we'd sometimes see the sun set at 15h before daylight saving kicked in, meaning the sun would rise at 8h30. All those walks to school in the dark, good thing it was a safe place !
