Any cool project going on?
#16
Right now I'm trying to learn PHP to make an online Radio Station.

I want it to work very much like how Radio Hyrule works, but with Bemani Music.

A big project going on right now, though I'm not deeply involved, we are affected by it... All should be revealed tomorrow.

This might be a stupid question... But...

What cartoon do you storyboard? Is it like, an actual TV series, a youtube series, for fun, etc?
This is mostly a one-shot short film I'm doing for the internet. I have plans for a series of shorts though(although, due to the content thats going to be in said shorts its mostly gonna be on newgrounds). But I will post snip its of it on youtube though.

Woah, Newgrounds still exists ?
Damn that takes me back :)
Newgrounds still exists surprisingly. Then again, where else can people post inappropriate things that youtube wouldn't allow? Besides. I think the content on there is lacking a ton of quality in terms of art the last time I was there. I'm not talking about fan made stuff, i'm talking about original stuff here.

On the update on the project I'm working on. I'm already experimenting with some short animations for fun before I get onto animating the cartoon itself. I'm also trying to find a good design for one of the older characters in the short.

There's Vimeo and Dailymotion, and sites I probably shouldn't mention, but Newgrounds is indeed an option.

I'm currently working on a pet project which has been getting less and less of my attention for like two months now...

I'm planning to write a web application which helps nerds get in shape. Rather than just a fitness monitoring site with 'achievements' tacked on I actually plan to release a 'fitness fighting game'

I plan to tie in to the FitBit (A wireless fitness monitoring device) and use the data which it produces to create a fighting game. The idea is that you set yourself some goals and the site will provide you with daily targets - beat those targets? You'll randomly attack with a special attack or a critical hit.

The idea is that you challenge a friend or a stranger over the course of a week (since a single day is just not enough time - especially if your routine over a week includes a rest day or two) - once the week is up your battle animation plays and you see how you did. These will be archived and recorded for future playback. Private, Local and National ladders would be something I'd implement pretty quickly for those who find competitiveness the best way to motive themselves.

The concept isn't fully formed yet but I have an idea of the implementation and general set of features. I suppose once I stop slacking off I'll have more down.

That's a great idea. No better way to get in shape than with a tailored competition.
Hope this takes off
