The Halo Series is one of my favorites, just the character of Master Chief is such a interesting guy, and Sgt Maj. Johnson is the ultimate badass!!

This, and Halo 4's single player really mended the series almost perfectly for me.

Multiplayer, however, is another story.

I have A massive love for the Assassins Creed lore and world. Every release so far, i've enjoyed. I just hope they can keep it up. AC: 4 looks pretty good, and i'm glad that they're expanding on the Boating part of the game.

Halo 3 was the greatest game I've ever played. My bro got it on release day and I played it weekly with almost all of my friends for around 4 years after launch. Campaign, forge, multiplayer, theater, clans, everything was perfect. The amount of hours I played Custom games alone outnumbers a majority of the games I've ever played. It's to bad that Halo 4 destroyed all of that (except for the campaign.)

another game dump: Bomberman Tournament, Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario Party 2, 3, 5 (haven't played 4 enough to remember), 7 and 8, Yoshi's Story, Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Topsy Turvy was good imo, as was Touch 'n Go (albeit very hard), Mario Kart 64, Double Dash!!, and Wii, Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Mega Man Battle & Chase, Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Eternal Duelist Soul, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Pulseman, Doctor Who: The Adventure Games, Kirby Squeak Squad, Kirby Canvas Curse, the Mario & Luigi series, The Legendary Starfy, Meteos, Pokémon Stadium, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, the Donkey Kong Country series, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Powerpuff Girls: Chemical Xtraction (surprisingly a REALLY fun game), Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, Glover, all three Super Smash Bros. games, WarioWare, INC.: Mega Micro Games and Party Game$, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, both Sonic Adventures, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (don't kill me for the last three), Sonic and the Secret Rings and the Black Knight, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Super Mario RPG, Ocarina of Time (haven't played Majora's Mask myself so I shouldn't place my opinion from only watching my cousin play it even though I'm sure I'll like it anyway), Kirby's Return to Dreamland... that's all I can think of atm.

Your Halo 3 experience sounds lots like mine with Halo 2, luckily I was that not-so-typical 13 year old kid who played day and night, following MLG and ended up having some of the greatest times. Met some of my best friends through that game, too.

Same (except I was 11), a large majority of my friends on Xbox and a few IRL I met by joining Halo 3 clans.

My favourite RPG would be Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. This game was rich in storyline, humour, and it was just too good with balanced gameplay and whatnot. It was bright, cheerful, as was just great.

My favourite 2D platformer would be Super Metroid. Why? Because, it's Super Metroid.
My all-time favourite would be Metroid Prime, no doubt. This game really took a risk, completely changing the definition of a Metroid game, and still managed to pull through with Super Metroid-quality gameplay, if not better than that. It was atmospheric, enjoyable, and the soundtrack was awesome.

My favourite game would have to be Digimon World 3, if only for its nostalgia and replay value for me.

If I had to choose a more reason game, I'd say Just Cause 2. It's got all the playground and silliness I could ever need.
