I'm a big fan of Psychonauts for the PS2. There was a character in the game called the Milkman. He would shuffle about muttering about how he was going to deliver the milk while throwing Molotov cocktails made with milk bottles. He was also green. That's why I chose the name Milkman.

HEY ARJHAN, I FOUND THE RIGHT THREAD? WHAT? NO, THAT ONE IS FOR TITLES, COME OVER HERE!
Ahem, as I was saying: My friend had a D&D character named Arjahn, which he apparently got from the Reccomended Dragonborn names in the Player's Handbook, and I really liked it... so I stole it.
The end.
Imma sell the movie rights tomorrow, I'm thinking Xannidel's got my part down, but I'm not entirely sold on his performance yet.

My real name is Daniel. People used to call me Danny, many friend from my hometown still do.
When I was young, my handwriting was appalling. I wrote my name one day when I first began learning to write, and my "N"'s came out sideways or at a slant. In any case, I wrote DAZZY and just thought the name sounded lame with a Y on the end.

Thus, Dazz. Tahdah.

Excitement? A Jedi craves not these things. What is a name? A miserable little pile of secrets!

My name comes from something that my teacher once said. "A master never stops learning. He only stops when he dies." Me, being in middle school, thought this was a cool proverb and took it on as my name, since I loved finding new things in video games, and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I was also a cocky kid and thought no one could beat me (I know better now). Years later, I found out how generic the name was and wish I had added more to it, but I still like it and continue to use it with pride.

About 10 or so years ago Shonen Jump packaged one of its issues with a beta disc of Yu-Gi-Oh online, and being a total YGO nerd at the time I was so excited about playing YGO with other people that were not total cheaters that I only played it once and forgot about it.

I gave the game another try in 2006 long after the beta. While in-between games I would notice that the lobby chat would always have some users doing role-play as anime characters, some original some not, and by time I ran out of duel points (the in-game currency to play) I figured why not join in too.

Well my username at that time was “Dieohada” and in my head I read it as Die-o-ha-da (which is a stupid name I gave to a drawing I did), but one user kept getting it wrong and saying, “Dieohada? Dieo had a what?” and he would always say that when I joined the chat. So I decided to do something, while role-playing, to him that ended up getting everyone in the chat super pissed at me; it got so bad I made a new role-playing alias named “LightandDarkMatt”. The idea behind LightandDarkMatt was about the anime trope of “this character has a good side and bad side” which, you guessed it, was accompanied by two other usernames: LightMatt and DarkMatt.

And to hurry this story along, the role-playing anime fans I hung out with liked LightMatt more than the other two usenames, and I got tired of logging out and in to keep up the gimmick so I decided to stick with LightMatt from that point forward. Every new site my chums would sign up for be it Gaia online, youtube (To post really stupid AMVs), Yahoo IM, etc. I’d followed behind bearing the username Lightmatt.

So there you go, my username is based on something dumb I did in a chatroom when I was 13 and I haven’t bothered trying to come up with something better since. It’s a banner of how much of a total dork I am.

It's my PSN name and the name I want to use if I ever start a let's play channel. I got that name by randomly generating names because I couldn't think of a good one when I made my PSn, and RepentantSky was the coolest sounding one I got.

Katherine is apparently too long of a name to be called by.

My real name is Peter but my nick name since I was born (and in fact, the nickname of my namesake - my grandfather) is Petie. Ironically, my father's name is also Peter so Petie became my computer username and then just stuck for pretty much all of my online accounts.
