I'm not a dog person, but he really is a good one. He's sweet and lovable. He's just really old.
Yesterday, I brought him and my brothers dog, Sidney, some fancy milkbones dipped in (fake) chocolate from The Chocolate Bar downtown.
This is Sidney.
Sidney looks so glorious standing like that.

Guinea pigs are so silly. I just sit up and they freak the heck out and run into the igloo. They actually scared me too when they did that xD
Dahlia is such a queen bee. She has to hog the towel when I hold the two of them, completely stretching out so Iris just has a teeny corner, but when Iris tries to stretch out a little Dahlia gave her foot a little nip because it ended up in her face.

^ Ohhh! I didn't realize they made more of those!
Hahaha, sadly they're not. They like to just eat, be lazy, and pop a lot, but I still love 'em.

Meet Putt the Pit. Yes he does attack you, but only if you are Jehovah's witnesses. (JK he could barely hurt a fly) Strange how they got the image of a killer when he hides from my 3 year old niece and 2 year old nephew.

It absolutely enrages me that people are scared of such a nice breed of dog. I also had a pit bull once and other dogs were usually the ones to get angry when she was just wagging her tail and wanting to play. Also your pit is so fucking cute.

He wants to be big and bad but he's a big baby. Exalent guard dog since no one wants to go near him. Funny Story: I had to baby sit my sister's jack Russell for a month or two. I put both dogs in the yard and Putt decided he wanted to play with the neighbor. The neighbor was scared of Putt as he just sat there waging his tail. My sister's dog (out of no where) bites the neighbor but he blames my dog. Just goes to show you that Pits are not that mean if raised right.

Just reading that enrages me. I wish people weren't so stupid and close minded.

I really hate the stereotypes that have been developed about some dog breeds. Yes, some do have some general characteristics that might bother some people, which is why a potential owner should always do their homework. I remember reading about one lady who didn't realize that Beagles like to bay at things and wanted to know how to make it stop.

I have a beagle. I actually like the baying, because mine only does it when a stranger pulls into the driveway. That's actually really handy.

I certainly didn't mean to sound like I was bashing them; it was just an example that I had off the top of my head. This lady was just so clueless and for some reason it just drove her up a wall whenever hers did that, which shows she probably only got a Beagle because it's a cute dog. Yeah... Kinda got off topic from the Pit bull thing but there's just so much ignorance all around when some people get a pet.
I personally want to get a pug, but what sucks about them is that they shed way more than you'd expect for a dog their size and they're a big pain to train.
