Your greatest video-game moment
#16
I would say when I beat Super Mario 64 I was really happy

I also forgot getting 1000 gamerscore in Halo 4 before the map pack came out

I have a few:

1.) Getting 100% items and scans in Metroid Prime 2
2.) Beating Sonic Adventure 2 (DC) for the first time (I was about 10 - 11 years old)
3.) Coming back and beating Super Magnetic Neo (DC) after all these years (I couldn't beat the final boss until a few months ago, and I've had the game since around the same time as Sonic Adventure 2)

I do find it very rewarding every single time I crack a case in an Ace Attorney game. Feels good, man.

Just now, I was playing Civ V and it showed who had the best military. 2nd place was Germany with about 9000. I had 54000+.

I can't think of one off the top of my head, but once I broke a L4D cd in a way that it worked, but all the entities were RAINBOW COLOURED. Many lol's were had.

That means you corrupted the textures if I am not mistaken.

A whole 3 pages? Awesome! :3

I have been loving the stories so far so keep 'em coming.

I remember quite clearly what is my personal greatest moment in video-games. I was but a wee lad playing on the first games console he ever owned, the game boy pocket. I had become a tiny bit obsessed with the world of Pokemon, and still am to a point. I had been playing all day and finally manage to defeat Lance for the first time ever. Overjoyed, believing I had just became the champion my heart sank when I saw there was one battle left. My team was beaten and broken with the exception of 2 who were still at good health. My Omastar and Alakazam.

The match begins and I throw out my Pinsir for a slim attempt at guillotine, his only move left and only with 1 pp. HIT! There was a first. Pinsir fell the next turn leaving me with my last 2 pokemon. I sat under the sheets of my bed, torch held between my teeth and fought on, faint after faint Gary's pokemon fell before I was left with the last one. Alakazam was sitting deep in the red and Omastar was not much better. Alakazam deals some good damage before he falls as well. I fear the worst, was I going to fall just short of winning and have to face the whole league once again?

Critical hit with surf! I watch as Gary's last pokemon slides down the screen. I had done it! I had beaten my first every pokemon league. All thanks to a mustached psychic, a neck chopping bug and a prehistoric squid.

That, by far, is my personal greatest moment.

You gotta get all the orichalcum and make the ultimate keyblade first. Then, you gotta stock up on ALL THE HEALS, use trinity limit, and stay persistent.

Probably getting my first perfection in Halo (15 kills, no deaths). I got about 3 more after that, one ironically on Christmas Day, another in Halo Reach, and I think one more in Halo 4.

Other times, would usually be when me and my 5 friends used to mess around in MW2, especially in Search and Destroy, since we invented this way of playing where all we do is barricade a small room, and wait for them, plant C4, and have smoke grenades ready for a quick escape, and riot shields so they can't really do anything.

Most of the time we'd win, other times we'd lose. Sometimes, it'd just happen to be me as the last guy, and I'd always win the round, sometimes by planting the bomb and winning, other times by luck.

If I just recorded all my games where I was amazing it'd be awesome to watch and put it on Youtube.

My personal greatest moment was when I played Golden Sun for the first time.

I actually sequence broke the game--I was supposed to go beat up an evil tree or something, but my puny brain couldn't comprehending pushing a crate into the water so I went to Imil and the Water Lighthouse instead. The rest is kind of spoiler town maybe.

td;lr for those that don't want spoilers or read a huge block of text: Sequence broke, hard boss, squeaked by with one person left at 16 HP, learned Revive afterwards.

Ok, thanks. I'll try it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNPBdKQBYHg - I was one of the people who made this Little Big Planet remake of the entire NES Contra game. We got articles, features, shout outs and a little bit of love on every gaming website out there in February 2009. The trailer went viral, we all got a little love, and level 1 even got shown on X-Play on the old G4 TV show for about 20 seconds.

It was really unexpected and I was pretty proud of my 15 minutes. Media Molecule gave all 7 of us these rare in-game crowns to wear. They were some of the very first ones they gave away. Then we won a "Golden Sackie Award" that year (which is basically an in-game achievement in Little Big Planet 2) for outstanding achievement.

I believe I've done more impressive things on my own in LBP over the years, that I'm proud of, but this was the one that achieved the most success.
